man this place has one of the best menus I have ever seen .. My family is very picky and Bellini's has something for everyone. The food is great and the staff is awesome. The manager Bill went out of his way to entertain my daughter one night when we where there late. My waiter Stuart was just as friendly .. We will be back for sure ---- Thank You
Review Source:This place is fantastic. Â They have a beer taster selection where you can pick your own which was great. Â We had a big party on a Friday night with kiddos and they were so accommodating. Â Our waitress was phenomenal. Â She went out of her way to give us everything we needed and then some. Â The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was perfect. Â Couldn't recommend this place more, will be a regular for sure.
Review Source:I've been here several times and always have friendly service which can really change a good place into a great place. Â
Kids Mac and cheese is always requested by my youngest son and he likes my homemade Mac so I know it's  good here.
Bloody Mary bar is great. Â
Sweet potato fries are the bomb.
I really enjoy coming here! I live in Cedar Park and I appreciate the option of Bellini's when I don't feel like venturing towards downtown for some "Foodie" type food options! Â They are GREAT pizza here, that is what I always get here. Â The drinks are STRONG and they have awesome desserts as well. Â The Salted Caramel Gelato is TO DIE FOR. Â Also, kids eat free on Sunday, and that is always a plus for a mom of two!
Review Source:Nice family restaurant dining area & Sports bar seating available. Â Nice causal menu. Â Third dining experience. Â Overall good service & seating. Offered us our preferred sports option on the adjacent TV. Â Reasonable pricing. Â Tuscan fare. Â However everything influenced w/ TX spice. For me, the spicy bite is not necessary. Â I believe Tuscan favors & quality ingredients can stand alone. Minor topping error on a personal pizza. Server & manger offered to replace the pizza. Â A price adjustment was posted.
Review Source:This place needs to apply for Kitchen Nightmares, they would be on in a heartbeat. Â We tried this place out a few weeks ago and ended up regreting that decision! All we were left with was a sickening feeling that lasted for days. Â The food was greasy greasy greasy! No flavor! Completely overcooked/burnt! Ughhhh, it makes me sick just thinking about it. Â Also, the service was completely horrible, our waitress was in a world of her own and completely ignored us the whole night! Â I wish I could give zero stars to this place, I'm surprised they're still in business.
Review Source:My food was pretty good. Â I ordered the fried pickles (4 stars), triple grilled cheese panini thingie (3 stars) and the strawberry sorbet (5 stars). Â My friend ordered a burger and onion rings. Â He didn't like any of it and I have to agree, the onion rings were awful. Â The service was very good and the music selection was superb...some Elton John & Queen...nice. The sorbet was beautifully presented as a rose (see photos). Â Would I go back? Maybe, but not likely. My friend would not any time soon. Â It's a great place for gelato & sorbet, though. Â And the bar was pretty cool. Â But for lunch or dinner? Probably not for me.
Review Source:Took,my mom here for Happy Hour and appertizers.
Carla, was our waitress, really nice and fast.
We had the Smoked Cheicken Tortilla soup,Excellent and the Fried Oysters, they were just ok.Hey,chef.Next time season the oysters first before battering them. They need much flavor. The sauce had a nice kick. All in all,it was great. The margaritas were the best.Definlly, coming back
The best thing here is the deep dish pizza and the beer selection. Â I don't care for as many things here on the menu outside the aforementioned items which is a little disappointing, but ok. Â The fried pickles are a great starter and the chipotle ranch is a good dipper. Â My son swears by the gelato so probably worth checking out too. Â I have been a bit disappointed with the staff. Â When we first went just after opening they were great, however now it seems like are waits for food drinks and overall service is much slower. Â At this point we know which servers are best and try to get seated with them. Â It's worth checking out as these types of places are in short supply in this area.
Review Source:Let's keep this simple.  I would have rather eaten at McDonald's than here, and I don't even eat at McDonald's. This place ruined our evening. I am sitting here without having dinner.  My veggie burger was more like a soggy piece of something between two pieces of bread and a huge glob of what they call gorgonzola, which was disgusting.  Fries were soggy  with grease , even sent them back to get more soggy grease sticks.  Husbands catfish was saturated in grease, and the fried pickles? Well, I prefer my pickles crispy, if you know what I mean.  We had soggy greasy floppy dill pickles.  Manager took my soggy veggie mess off the ticket, but never asked if I wanted to eat anything else.  We will never return to this place.  We so desperately need some good food in cedar park, but next time instead of throwing 50 bucks awAy to go to this texas grill, we will go through a Texas drive thru.
Review Source:It's been almost a month since my last visit and I am just now getting around to writing the review.
OK so I've been here twice both time we met another couple for dinner. Our first experience was that service while pretty slow was good and the food was spot on amazing. The slow service was a mute point because we could tell she was really trying and the food was great so all forgiven...
Second visit we met another couple for dinner. SO WHERE DO I BEGIN??? Again the service was RIDICULOUSLY slow. Our server took FOREVER getting our drinks and that was just the beginning. For our second round I had to get up and go to the bar to get our beers.
NO MANAGER EVER CAME OVER.
Apps finally came out. My boyfriend got some little burger things and he liked them but our friends got the chips thingy that we got last time (the first visit it rocked) but this time it was clearly GROSS! The chips were soggy and just YUCK! It maybe that it sat in the window for an hour...My friends mentioned this to the server when she cleared their almost full plate away and she looked at it and said "oh sorry"
NO MANAGER EVER CAME OVER
Now our main courses come out and we've been here for over an hour and we are more then agitated at this point. The other couple got the same thing, It was some kind of sandwich...maybe Philly cheese steak or something??? In any event they said the sandwiches were pretty good but the fries where BURNT. and I mean uneatable burnt! Neither of them eat more then one fry on their plates. My boyfriend got Alfredo something or other and his only complaint was that he got his salad that came with the meal after the entree. I got chicken bruchetta. Â OMG what a disappointment. It was a great sized portion but whoever was cooking that night must have not had a clue. At best the chicken tasted like a sponge. The best part is by my second bite I found a hair and didn't bother eating any more because it was gross anyway. We finally saw the server 20 minutes later (this is the point that she brought my bf the salad) and told her to remove the plates that the food was uneatable. She took the plates and disappeared to the back.
My bf was the only one eating and we asked her for some coffee before she went MIA
NO MANAGER EVER CAME OVER
We get our coffee and chatted about how terrible the place was for about 10 minutes and then finally got the bill. We asked for separate checks to begin with but of course it came all as one bill. We asked the server to separate them and had to remind her of who got what (did I mention we were one of 3 tables in the place?)
While she was off doing that the bartender came over to the table (remember I had to go to the bar and get our second round because our server sucked?) Well she drops a bill on the table and says we had a balance at the bar. When I asked her to have the server put it on the bill she was preparing for us she responded...I don't know how to do that.
I ASKED TO SEE THE MANAGER
I sent my boyfriend to the bathroom and when the manager (some guy in a blue Hawaiian shirt) showed up I kinda lit into him. I asked him where he was all night. For such a small place he should know what is going on at every table. Truth be told I know where he was. He was right in the front of the place as it turns out the guy that sat us was the MOD.
Here is some advise...I'm gonna guess he is an owner with no FOH experience (there is a lot of that going on in Cedar Park). Go to every table! Politely ask them how everything is and then ask them if there is anything you can get for them to make their meal more enjoyable. Be sure to visit the table after they have gotten their entree and make sure you are staffing your kitchen correctly. Classic New Owner mistake that every experienced restaurant manager will tell you is they try to cut costs by cutting labor. DON'T CUT YOUR KITCHEN! If the food is not good people will not spend there hard earned money there.
In the end he said he was sorry and took off two of the entrees. As for me and my boyfriend we have decided to spend our bucks in an establishment that is worth it. We work very hard for our dollars so we will spend them in places where they work very hard for theirs!
Good luck Bellini's I hope you get some experienced management in there so you can pull yourselves together!
Tried Bellini's after seeing a fundraiser here for a local cat rescue. I love to support a business that gives back, plus I saw Yelp photos of Bellini pizza that looked pretty good, so we went!
As recent transplants from Chicago, we struggle with finding "real" pizza in TX. Deep dish is unheard of here and if you do find it, it's not proper deep dish by any stretch of the imagination.
Our waitress was fantastic and she quickly learned of our pizza quest. After a few signature Bellini's (great, btw), out came the closest pizza to true Chicago deep dish that we've found in TX yet. The flavor is all there and the crust is about a 6/10 by Chicago standards, which is a 10/10 in TX, land of bland cheeseless pizza that folds up like a rug. It's about 75% as thick as Chicago deep dish, and again, in TX - that's a damn fine accomplishment!
Midway thru our meal the chef came out, hearing of our reviews, and talked about his goal to make real Chicago pizza. He was eager for the feedback and we appreciated his concern and passion for good food.
We can't wait to go back! This will definitely hold us over until we return to the Windy City. Great service, great drinks, they regularly hold charity events there and even their menus espouse the virtues of animal rescue. I think we will be regulars here in no time!
Bonus: Free wifi.
My boyfriend and I have been to this restaurant two times. We were very disappointed  the first time, but decided to give it another try. It was a poor choice. Our second experience was far worse.
Before I tear Bellini's apart, I will say that they do have a decent beer selection, the place is clean, and the atmosphere, while somewhat confusing, is interesting at least.
The service - Our waitress started out fantastic. She was very friendly and eager to give recommendations on the extremely large menu. Then, about halfway through the meal, she stopped coming to the table. In the end, we had our food cleared away and sat for somewhere between 15-20 minutes before she brought the check.
The food - AWFUL. Every single thing we ate was awful. My boyfriend ordered the stuffed ravioli and when it arrived, he made me giggle by commenting "well, this just looks embarrassing"...and it did....like a heaping pile of red slop. The ravioli tasted frozen. I had the Tuscan Panini and though I could see the pesto on it, it had almost no flavor.
The prices - The most insulting thing about this place was the price. Most dishes do not come with a side item. Simple chips and salsa are listed at $7 on the appetizers menu. We were given an item that we did NOT order and told that it was complimentary because we had waited so long for our food. Of course, we were charged for it when our bill finally came.
We wanted to like Bellini's but after two tries, we will never be eating there again.
I am sorry but I have a hard time awarding any stars to this place. This place has an extensive menu as has been commented on. So went with the safe choice and ordered a burger. Server came back and said that they were out of ground beef.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! No ground beef at all.
I must add that this was on a Saturday afternoon about 7pm.
Enough said. This place will not get anymore of this families money.
The calamari here was some of the best. I liked that it came with a lot of dipping sauce, most places skimp on that kind of stuff.
I had the spinach salad and a Bellini quiche.
So good.
I loved it.
The service wasn't amazing, we were the only table there and he seemed annoyed that we were there. ( sorry bro) I really want to come back and try something new. The menu is large. Very large.
Over all, I like this place.
My husband and I have been here three times and I now feel like I'm experienced enough to write a review.
The first time we went was on a Tuesday evening. Â They were doing happy hour 4pm-close which means half off appetizers, $2.50 craft beers, $1 off wines by the glass, and some other things. Â We tried the Chips, Salsa, and Italian Pico for an appetizer and really liked it. Â I could eat that often. Â The salsa is very smooth and has a really good flavor. Â For the meals, I got The Bodine with mushrooms, onions, bacon, jalapenos, and provolone. Â The vegetables are grilled and had great flavor with the gooeyness of the provolone and the absolute deliciousness of the crispy, flavorful bacon. Â Seriously, the bacon was my favorite part of the meal. Â I was disappointed in the burger itself, though. Â It didn't have a lot of flavor and I didn't like the consistency. Â My husband had the chicken fried steak and said it was ok...not much else to say (his words). Â For dessert we had the apple cobbler, and it was really delicious.
The second time we went was also on a Tuesday. Â The craft beer list wasn't updated so there was a bit of back and forth with the waitress between us and the bar to determine what was actually on tap. Â We had the homemade garlic breadsticks for an appetizer, and while very tasty, I don't see how it's worth the $6 they charge when it's not half off. Â For the meals, I had the grilled philly ribeye, which had cheese, grilled mushrooms and grilled onions. Â It was decent, but needed a condiment of some sort. Â My husband had the build your own deep dish pizza with pepperoni and italian sausage. Â He said it was delicious and he would definitely want to get it again, but possibly on Wednesdays when their pizza is 25% off (this pizza was $11.99 plus $1.50 per topping).
The third time we went was yesterday for brunch. Â My husband was excited to try the deep dish apple pancake, which turned out to just be a thick cake with some apples on top. Â I think he was expecting apples inside the pancake as well, like when he gets blueberry pancakes at restaurants. Â I had the royal flush, which is an english muffin topped with scrambled eggs, cheese sauce, tomatoes, avocado, and bacon. Â The only thing remotely warm on the whole thing were the eggs, so the whole meal was luke warm to cool. Â Considering these were $9-$10 per plate, we left a bit disappointed. Â We don't typically eat brunch in restaurants so maybe we're not used to the pricing? Â I added pictures of the pancake and royal flush.
When it comes down to it, we'll most likely come here on Mondays or Tuesdays for the half off appetizers and $2.50 craft beers, Wednesdays for the discount pizza, or any day for the cobbler of the day or Teo gelato. Â The ambiance is nice, waitstaff has been mostly attentive, and it's just down the road from home.
Last night at Bellini's, the employees were totally off their game. This review and the low star count are based solely upon my very short experience there last night.
A friend and I were having a girl's night out - she had gotten off work late and arrived at my house around 7:30. Neither of us had eaten since about noon. Bellini's is a restaurant in my neighborhood and we chose them because we wanted something close and quick to get to for dinner. We have both been there before and it was a decent experience with good food so that was our first choice. We were very hungry and were also looking to have a few drinks while we chatted, as we haven't seen each other in a while.
The parking situation was ridiculous. All of the parking on the Bellini's side of the shopping center was full - all the way down to the medical imaging center. Thankfully someone pulled out and left, so we were able to get parking.
We walked in, and a younger looking girl with reddish hair greeted us, acting as the hostess. My friend wanted to sit in a cozy booth. She craned her neck to look over the tables and yes, there was a booth available but it needed to be cleaned. We said that we would gladly wait for that to happen. She said that they would get it  cleared off quickly for us. So, we stood there for a few moments and looked at the display case until she came by and said, "You guys..the waiting area is over there." Like we were supposed to know that or something. So, we went and sat down on the bench and waited.
We watched servers, one older lady busing tables and a lot of other employees doing their jobs, but also chatting. The hostess girl went ahead and clocked out and put her purse on and seemingly left for the evening. We started to get concerned that she hadn't told anyone we were there. So after a few more minutes of watching all the employees not clean off our table or notice us... I walked up to the counter to a guy who looked like he might be a manager and said, "Hey... the hostess who just clocked out said that the available booth would be cleaned for us and I'm not sure she told anyone we were here." He was nice and said he would take care of it and get someone to get it done - and then proceeded to take a pitcher of iced tea around the entire room and top everyone off. Still no booth cleaning going on. He went into the back and was doing whatever.
We then sat there and watched our hostess, who was off the clock... chat with employees right up front and greet some customers that walked in the door that she obviously knew. Not once did she even look to see if we were still sitting there or anything. The guy never came back...he stood way back by the kitchen talking to other employees - and the lady who had been previously busing tables was now standing way behind the counter chatting with other employees too.
So.. I guess Bellini's didn't want our business last night. And that's fine..we left, (and no one noticed) and drove all the way out to I-35. We had a great meal at Jack Allen's Kitchen which included drinks, entrees, and dessert - and left a huge tip for service done right. I really like to support businesses in my neighborhood, but if your employees are going to treat me like that - I'm not going to be back for a long, long time.
This is for the bar. Monday is 1/2 price appetizer night and there are some good choices. I had the All American Sliders and the Mozzarella Cheese Fingers. There are also drink specials. The employees really try hard to make sure you have a good experience and the other bar flies are talkative and fun and I have never had a bad time.
Review Source:A Friday night, so we had approx. a 25 minute wait. Our waitress took our order right away and our food came out fast considering the place was at full capacity.
The Bellini's were good and the food was good. Do not expect an Italian place this is a Texas Grill with some pasta dishes and pizza.
The sign out front says Texas Grill but interior decor is very italian. Lots of families and groups that evening and the bar in the back was packed & looked fun. The Philly Cheese Steak was good but no comparison to a true Philly Cheesesteak but this is TX not Philly. My son had fried Shrimp which had a corn meal batter. My hubby and I agreed that should use a batter instead but the shrimp were large and fresh. My hubby had the Meatball Panini which he said was okay. The mac n cheese and homemade potatoe chips were both delish.
WOW - this place is AWESOME!! Â Food is good size portions for Brunch - the chicken fried steak is very tasty, just enought gravy - not to much.
Staff is very friendly, outgoing, helpful and very efficient on refills and getting the empty plates out of the way.
On weekends they open at 11am.
The interior is very classy, romantic, hipster, trendy and just great. Â They have the bar area towards the back of the venue - didn't check it out but from what I could see of it - looks very classy.
If your ever in the Cedar Park, stop by and check it out. Â You won't regret it.
I will be a return customer, thanks guys!!
Gave it 3 tries over 2 months. Disappointed every time. Â Place has so much potential! They just can't seem to put it all together.
Food is good but not great. Â No value in pricing. Service is sub par. Â Location is good, design is good, bar design is really good.
Would love it if they could put all the pieces together but until then they get no more of my money.
Tucked away in a strip mall behind Austin Radiology, this place surprises. Â The beer list is superb, offering several choices in each of several styles (IPA, wheat beer, porter, stout, and lager), and the food is fantastic.
I had a 1431 Whitestone pizza (white pizza w/alfredo sauce) with "breakfast" bacon and Italian sausage. Â It was salty, smoky, and incredible--I took my time with each and every bite. Â My wife had a more traditional pie, but gluten free (they have gluten free pizza crust, gluten free burger buns, and a gluten free brownie, upon request). Â Our son enjoyed an enormous burger with bacon, with a side of sweet potato fries.
Service was great. Â The price was a bit higher than expected ($50 for the three of us), but we will be back.
Bellini's is my favorite place in Cedar Park, and their capricciosa pizza is my favorite pizza in town. You can't get it at lunch, though. They also have a nice beer and cocktail selection, and their bellinis are really good.
If you are feeling really daring, get the fried macaroni and cheese bites. They are sinfuly delicious.
Bellinis also. Just has a nice hometown feel, and their staff is happy and helpful. I'll definitely be going there a lot from now on.
Firstly, this is a review for the Doghouse Bar in the rear not the restaurant. Â We did not eat there. Â
I really like the idea of the bistro restaurant in the front and the sports bar in the back. Â Great idea and it works really well. Â We went on a Saturday night and there were plenty of people in the bar giving it a great atmosphere. Â The beer selection is good, lots of good craft beers including a few that are hard to find locally. Â Very good, knowledgable and attentive bartenders. Â Very little to fault the bar it would seem.
BUT........ Â The whole experience was spoiled when a number of customers at the bar started to spit into paper cups supplied by the staff. Even though there were others eating a the bar, there were splitters sitting right next to them.
Note to management: SPITTING IN CUPS IS GROSS!!! Â I don't want to see it and I don't want to sit next to someone doing it. Â Five stars for the bar.... Â Minus three for the spitters. Â GROSS GROSS GROSS.
I, like other reviewers, really wanted this place to rock. Â I really wanted a restaurant closer to my home that was a little nugget to be cherished and visted often. Â Well, that didn't happen here. Â But maybe over time they will improve. Â
So, for the record, I have gone here and eaten in house and I have also ordered delivery. Â
Overview. Â It is the strip like center that has more businesses than shops. Â So, there was ample parking. Â We went on a Thursday night. Â It is very small inside. Â You walk in, hostest stand right when you walk in, desserts just beyond that in a dessert case. Â there is a bar like area where you can sit and dine. Â But the gist of the dining area is really small. Â There is a mixture of short tables and taller bar-like tables. Â I'm never a fan of the taller bar-like tables and to be honest - it wasn't like some bar tables where the tables are meant to be for drinks only. Â The chairs were just high enough to not be comfortable and I am 5'7". Â But the place was packed so, I dealt with it. Â
As this was the first time we had been here, we decided to order an appetizer and a drink. Â We ordered a skinny margarita and bruschetta. Â The Margarita was actually pretty good. Â It comes in a tall skinny glass (duh!). Â The bruschetta was OK. Â I've had some terrific bruschetta - which I understand that it can be personal taste - but this literally tasted like tomatos, some basil a little lemon and that was it. Â The pizza triangles, on the other hand, were very fresh and made the bruschetta worth eating! Â The portion of bruschetta was small. Â
For dinner, I had the Philly Ribeye Cheese steak. Â It was flavorless. Â The meat nearly tasted like steak-umms. Â there was a lot of bread. Â And you had to order fries separate. Â That, I never understand. Â I had also ordered a ceasar salad which came in a small round bowl. Â It was very small for $5. Â And I honestly couldn't tell if there was dressing on it ... So, my meal on a scale of 1-5 with a 1 being the best ever, was a 4. Â
My friend ordered the Poggi Bonsi. Â The buns are like sweet buns - maybe Hawaiian buns? Â They are like the buns at Moonie's Burgers. Â The meat was flavorless. Â My friend didn't finish eating it. Â She had sweet potato fries which were pretty darn good though. Â
For delivery, I had the Bodine burger, another person had the Philly Ribeye, another had the turkey panini, and another had gourmet BLTA. Â The folks with the panini and the BLTA were happy with their order. Â The Philly Ribeye and me with the Bodine were far less impressed. Â The burger I had was devoid of flavor and was just this hunk of meat. Â I ate about 1/2 of it. Â
We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer. Â They are pickle chips, lightly breaded. Â Plenty for 4 folks. Â They were good but the batter was not tasty. Â We also ordered the Sin City Onion Rings which ... let me just say, are not worth anything delivered since the cheese and the bacon is on the side. Â the batter for these was not eventful too. Â They are huge onion rings though. Â Big and thick. Â
For the delivery order, I called it in. Â They took everythign down. Â Gave me a total and an estimate of when the food would arrive. Â They said about 25-30 mins. Â It took just around 35 minutes but I have to say the food was piping hot. Â So, it was worth it. Â
Again, I truly want this place to do well. Â But they need a new chef ... smaller menu ...a focus on what they want to be (hamburgers along side wraps along side Italian food was just too much). Â Be an Italian place ... and be a good Italian place. Â We could use one in the neighborhood. Â I'll give it plenty of time before I head back. Â Atthis point, the thought of eating a burger there is just enough to make me ill.
Tried this place the other night and was very impressed. Â Large portions to go with a large menu...almost too large. Â It took me awhile to read through it. Â The night we went, their happy hour was half priced appetizers. Â That made my decision easier. Â We chose to split the homemade potato chip nachos which were monsterous! Â Truly could have been split with a family of 6 as a meal. Â I also chose to order the smoked chicken salad sliders as my meal (also on the 1/2 priced app list). Â I loved the smoked chicken used in the chicken salad. Â I will totally be making some chicken salad from the next smoked chicken my hubby makes in the smoker! Â
We noticed a large sports bar seating area in the back and will have to try that section out next visit. Â
Only complaint is that the service was odd...meaning that I got my sliders out first, then we got the nachos and my husband's salad next. Â Then later my husband's dinner came out. Â It could have been a mix up since I was ordering from the app menu, but awkward none the less.
We just discovered this new place and its not far from Avery Ranch. Â Very well decorated, and much bigger than I expected. Â Pizza seemed to be the thing to order as we looked around when we sat down. Â It advertises as an Italian place, so I was surprised to see so few Italian entree's. Â If you want chicken fried steak, or catfish or even a hamburger, you're in luck here. Â
We ordered a cheese pizza for our 3 year old and it was huge, but she must have liked it, she ate almost the whole thing. Â My wife and both got 10" build your own pizza's, which we probably could have shared just 1. Â It was good though and we would come back. Â Hope they keep up the good work.
Just one knock, the service was a bit slow.
A neighbor was telling us how much they loved this place, so my parents and I went to give it a try while they were in town. Â The parking lot was full, but we got seated very quickly. Â My dad was thrilled that he could see a tv with a ball game from his seat.
I was a little overwhelmed by everything on their menu. Â Burgers, pizzas, spaghetti, sandwiches, wraps, fish, oh my! Â I was really craving lasagna which seemed to be the one italian dish not on the menu... bummer! Â
I ended up going with the deep dish pizza that reminded me of Mangia. Â My parents got the Margherita pizza and we shared a large Caesar salad. Â We were a little surprised by the wait when the waitress came by and said it was the deep dish pizza taking so long. Â Totally understandable, but can we at least get our salad first? Â She ended up bringing it out right away after we asked. Â Our pizzas followed shortly after.
The salad was basic... lettuce, croutons and dressing. Â The dressing appeared homemade and had a pretty strong mayo taste. Â The croutons also appeared homemade and were the best part. Â My deep dish pizza with italian sausage was yummy....Sauce on top, super cheesy, yumm!!! Â My only complaint is that the sauce is a little sweeter than I would have liked. Â My dad tried my pizza and didn't like it, but he doesn't like deep dish. Â I didn't try my parents pizza, but they ate it all and said it was good.
The prices were pretty reasonable, especially my individual pizza. Â I'd like to go back and try some other things on the menu so I can provide a better review. Â They have half price apps on Monday and Tuesday from 4-6 (I think) and 25% off pizzas on Wednesday. Â Sounds like a great excuse to try the nachos the table next to us ordered that looked so good. Â I also really wanted some of the gelato they had in the case up front, but didn't save room for it.
Yum!! They have 12 inch gluten free pizzas!! We got the kitchen sink (minus meatballs) and had 2 of the 8 pieces left. There were so many toppings that we couldn't finish the pizza. Get some jalapeno ranch to dip in (it's spicy!!).
They also have 8 inch gluten free crusts, gluten free buns and gluten free brownies :)
Good food for what we actual got. Â We had to keep reminding the waiter what we had. Â And my food was wrong TWICE! Â Wasn't whiling to try a third. Â Manager was nice and tired to make things better. Â But the Wait Staff had already pushed me to far after he told what i said was wrong.
It sucks that food is worth eating  but  your experince is ruined do to one person.
Went there for the first time today with my family.  We ordered an appetizer (fried pickles with jalapeño ranch) and three meals.  I had the Chicago Beef, the wife a Caesar Salad (complete with human hair) and a quiche, and my son a burger and fries. Â
My food tasted very much like is was frozen and reheated, rather than something that was made onsite. Â The same could be said for the quite that my wife had. Â The crust was flat and fillings tasted very processed. Â Her salad came with a free hair and flavorless dressing. Â My son's burger wasn't bad, but to be fair they are kind of tough to mess up. Â The fried pickles were pretty great, but not good enough to merit a return visit. Â
I think the biggest problem is that the menu is just too big. Â It seems overly ambitious, like they are trying to please everyone and instead of doing a few things really well, they seem to do lots of things pretty poorly.
You know it's going to be a great evening when you have the best Kickass waitress in ther place. Oops, I am jumping ahead of myself.
A new place to eat in my neck of the woods, must try it. Found it with little difficulties but the parking is limited. There are two front doors, one for Take Out and one for Dine in. Trust me, you can use the Take Out door to get to the Dine in.
To the right is the take out counter, on the left is the general seating with about twenty tables, and in the back is the bar with eight tall tables. Â We get seated in the bar area. Angela was our waitress this evening. She was cheerful and a great sense of humor. She asks what we would like to drink. I, in return, ask what is a Wang Wang. Quickly she replies, it's like a Long Island Ice Tea but not. So what part is not like a Long Island Ice tea, I laughing ask. She says she perfers the beers here. So BF gets a beer and I get my usual dirty martini. She is back in a flash with water for us. A short time later she brings our drinks. Good Dirty Martini.
I have been craving a Philly Cheesesteak. BF decides to go with the french dip. Please note that they do not come with sides. So Angela convinced us to get a side of sweet potato fries. Â While waiting I realized I had a bird's eye view of the wood burning pizza oven. I watched those bad boys go in and come out looking Oh, so Good. Next time, my stomach, I will get you a pizza. Angela checked on us a few times while we were waiting.
Angela walks toward us with our food but stops to put it at another tables. She realizes it is the wrong table. When she puts the food on our table, she says they look just like you but not. This gets us all laughing because the other people didn't look anything like us. The Philly is not a big sandwich but it is packed with meat. I add a drizzle of mustard sauce on it and dig in. Hot Dam, this is definitely a ten napkin sandwich. Juicy, flavorful, satisfying. Oh yeah, BF enjoyed his french dip except when he got near the bottom of the Au Jus. He said it was too spicy. Â The fries were okay nothing special.
BF is thinking about another beer and asks Angela what it is like. She throws the line out again, it like so and so beer but not. Then she brings him a sample. He is sold.
We talk about trying the Burnt Sugar cake, unfortunately Angela tells us they no longer have it. She offers a sample of the gelato. Seriously, do you think I would turn down a sample of rich creamy ice cream. Well, I did. Too full.
It goes without saying we will be going back. I want to try the pizza.
We were a bit skeptical coming into this place the other nite. Â I mean, check that menu. Â It's busier than a bee on speed! Â Everything from pizzas to burgers to king ranch casserole to pasta to QUICHES???! Â But we were willing to check the new place out as we damn sure could use more decent restaurants up our way. Â Plus, I had strained my back that afternoon, shopping no less (digging thru the jegging pile at Macy's is derangerous!), so we wanted to go somewhere close, in and out quicklike.
We found the place no problem and were promptly seated in a comfy booth (thank God!). Â The place is cute with a little Romeo and Juliet balcony overlooking the main dining room (wonder if you can eat up there?) and a separate sports bar area. Â I just had to try the bellini of course and compare to the best bellinis in town, Carabbas. Â This one was good but did not knock Carabba's off its throne. Â I don't know what Carabba's puts in theirs but to this day, even with my pickled liver, I can still get a great buzz off two of theirs. Â
Anyhoo, after browsing the extensive menu for about 45 minutes (jk), I realized there's not a whole lot of healthy goin on here. Â They do have some salads and I found it amusing that all their "healthy options" are marked with a little heart icon. Â Those would be all the vegetables available on the pizzas (onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, etc), salads, the grilled chicken and catfish entrees, and the grilled veggie skewers side option, a very small portion of the menu.
So I went with the smoked chicken salad sandwich on farmhouse wheat with the veggie skewer and hubby got a pizza. Â I was very pleasantly surprised at how good my sandwich was! Â It had avocado and bacon and it wasn't a wet mushy mess like some chicken salad can be. Â The veggie skewer tho was just squash, cherry tomatoes and onion grilled without any seasonings or flavor. Â Blech. Â I KNOW healthy tastes better than that!! Â Hubby liked his pizza as well. Â OH! Â I forgot we also got the fried pickles (healthy right?) and they were pretty damn good! Â Course we haven't found any that compare to hubby's homemade, thin and crispy pickle chips, but these had a nice light batter and good flavor and came with a spicy jalapeno ranch. Â Hubby even thought maybe we'd just get some of these to go in January, when we have another Saints Superbowl party, but I wouldn't hear of it. Â
I think we'll definitely be back for happy hour or just a convenient Texan/Tuscan meal. Â We all crave that every now and then, right?
