  I walk in the bar and I'm handed a beer bucket by a friend and told they've signed me up for karaoke. Of course, that's a tradition on a Friday night at Bill & Dee's bar.
  Cheap beer and tasty shots are poured for patrons as people of all backgrounds play shuffleboard and pool and have a good time hanging out and having fun. If you don't like having fun around nice people, then Bill & Dee's is not for you.

  Wow. No, WOW! What a surreal experience! I was told that this was an "Indian Bar" by a few people before I came, but it's more like a social scene than a typecast genre bar... It was friday Kareoke night, around 11:00, and I was expecting a bunch of bitter jaded people. Glad my initial expectations were wrong. After I plied my chair that was stuck to the floor into moveability and got a super well-poured and cheap drink, I realized that this may just be the most fantastic bar in Norman! I got hit on by a drunken 60+ year-old lady and ended up being there for over three hours while the entire bar sang Journey songs LOUDLY... Brilliant! I wish we had some place like Bill and Dee's in Santa Fe!
  
  The bathroom alone was AN EXPERIENCE!

  Bring your own shuffleboard sand. Be prepared to mingle with people you'd never hang out with otherwise. Don't order Old Charter...ever. Walk to another bar on Main once it's dark and you've got a buzz. Enjoy.
