Black Rooster Restaurant

Food was great and waitress was a delight.
Unfortunately, there were limitations to the menu (ran out of items i.e. ribeye, chicken marsala, etc.).

The food and ambiance were excellent. Only place we could find in Southeast VA with vegetarian options. Tomato basil soup, portobello mushrooms and chocolate mouse desert were all excellent.  Only reason not given 5 stars was the slow service.

Nice little restaurant, and considering that it is one of the few in town, the quality of the ingredients is note worthy.
