Don't judge a book by its cover! There are a million bars in East Boca, but this truly is a hidden gem. It's really relaxed and they have a pool table which is great if you want to poke some balls. The staff here is amazing, super friendly... especially Maria and Lisa.
They have good ITB discounts too, so it's nice to just come by for a drink or 2, or 10 -- after work.
I LOVE this place! The staff is super friendly and more than happy to help you in any way possible! One of the (I guess you could call him a sever?) staff members named Andrew is so awesome! He is great about making sure you're enjoying yourself. Last time we were there he was telling us all about their art show they have every 6 weeks and encouraging me to bring my art in and set up a booth. Of course my favorite part is that they do ITB discounts every night! I recommend this place 100%
Review Source:This is my absolute favorite bar in Boca Raton, and I've been going here for a while now. I love it! It's very down to earth, which is hard to find in Boca Raton. It's a place where you can come to relax and unwind. The owner (Mike) is very nice, as are all the other people who work there. The crowd varies depending on what night you come. They're usually very nice and friendly. I have never had a negative experience here and I always recommend it to my family/friends.
Review Source:This bar has a laid-back, easy, come to drink, leave drunk kind of feel. Â The crowd is a mix but the big projection TV out back, picnic tables, games in every corner, and every liquor under the sun makes this a good spot. Â A bit different than the other jazzy spots in the Mizner area. Â You can tell the locals know this bar, and my guess is so do the more seasoned college students.
Review Source:I have only been here on Thursday nights for karaoke and it still has me coming back. Â This spot is now where the old BoardRiders used to occupy. Â It is a spacious bar the offers a couple of bar games, a stage for bands or karaoke, and a comfy outdoor patio area. Â
The selection of spirits is great. Â The bar area is open and kept clean. Â The bartenders are nice. Â I have had Maria and she is an absolute doll. Â My glass is never empty for too long and there are hooks on the bar for my bag. Â ITB discounts are awesome here and I have yet to try the food but I will update once I do.
I like Black Rose. Â It's a nice new choice amongst the other 20 irish pubs that surround the East Boca area.
Last Friday my cousins and I went to this place to grab a few drinks and some food. I have to say, this is not your typical "pub" food. I truly hope the chef gets recognized here. The place is about a month old, and from what I hear and from what I've experienced, the chef is an "up & coming" newbie to the culinary world.
I had the smoked pulled pork sliders with string beans and a side of mac'n cheese. Wow! Very well done. Home-made mac'n cheese that is good enough to be a meal of its own, but went great with the pulled pork sliders; of which were juicy and had a great smokey taste. All washed down with a great IPA they had on tap.
If you're looking for a place to throw a few darts, or play a little pool, and want to eat a great meal, this is the place in Boca.
