  My fav place so far in Sanford (I'm going to be here for five days and am making the rounds). Chill atmosphere.  Had some kind of reading going on when I went in.  The bartender (Matt) was totally cool.  Good selection of ales, and apparently all of their food is cooked with beer.  This place was Aces over Kings for me

  Great place for some English flair. The food is well thought out and unique, but most importantly, DELICIOUS! Their signature Fish & Chips are a must have, as are the Monte Cristo and the Nachos! Great beers as well. Try the Kronenbourg if you've never had it.

  The only reason this place does not get 5 stars is because it took incredibly long to get the food..granted there was only one person pouring the beer and cooking (Matt).  The food was actually great for a bar..we had the Fish and Chips (huge) and the Monte Cristo....soo good.  They have many unique beers on tap including my favorite, Lindemans - Framboise Lambic!  Cool and laid back dark wood bar..just a fun place to go with a group.
