  Arrived with a large group which could be cause for my food being cold and dry.  Ate here 2 days later and had grilled shrimp and veggies, both which were mushy.  Shrimp had a chemical taste and were small, especially for the price.   I hear you can't go wrong with the fried fish, which I am not a fan of.  Wouldn't revisit unless had to against my will.

  This is the third year in a row that we have eaten supper here. Every year we have not been disappointed. This year i didnt eat because i was stuffed from lunch but mom and dad got the all you can eat fried shrimp. They didnt have any complaints other than they ate too much. Haha. We also arrived at happy hour and enjoyed some $1 margaritas... Yumm yumm :) They have a  live singer but we havent been impressed yet. Not extremely wheelchair friendly. It was hard to get over the hump in the doorway. Over all we will be back next year :)

  There is parking in a private lot by Blackbeard's and in the not-particularly-paved area across the street. If you park there, be mindful backing out onto the street!
  
  Service is hit or miss at Blackbeard's. It has never been supremely awful...it's just not so great at times. I've never had seafood at this location...only chicken and burgers. The Blackbeard's Own is a pretty tasty burger and worth returning for.
  
  Don't order coffee (I was tired...what can I say?). It's mostly just warm, murky water.

  I say pass on Blackbeard's Too for better food somewhere else with a view of something better than a highway.  We are so very disappointed in what this restaurant has become.  The service was awful.  The food was terrible.  It took so long to deliver our food that I could have gone home, made a sandwich, eaten it and come back.  My wife's food was cold and very chewy.  My shrimp were cold and small.  The new potatoes were dirty.  I mean unwashed and very gritty.  My daughter wanted a hot dog.  it was not just grilled, it was burnt black.  Neither my wife or I received a refill of our drinks.  It was a bad experience.  It did seem though that the tables of elderly groups were having a good time and getting a lot of attention.  Maybe that is Blackbeard's too bread and butter.  That is sad.  I used to be a loyal customer.  It had gone down hill since the owner passed.  I guess that is the way things are.

  Wow, first time visiting and they mess up bad!!  The rice that came with the lunch was WAY undercooked.  I called the waitress over to have her let the kitchen know.  
  
  When she comes back its "sorry, did you want another serving?". If they weren't in the process of cooking more rice, why would I want more raw rice?
  
  When the bill comes, no comp of the soda or any show of apology.  Two other table filled in the place, so I don't get why the manager or anyone else wouldn't have appoligized?

  A great place on the way to the beach or into the City of Corpus Christi.  This venue is way better than the location on North Beach.  The servers are friendly and prompt, the live music is always a treat and the food is great.

  I love this place. We eat here almost every time we get down to the coast. Good food and friendly service. Live music - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights (at least when we've been there) makes this a nice place to linger over a last drink after dinner.
