Blue Moon Tavern

It grows on you after a while. The thing about the Blue Moon is that the people there get to know you. I'm talking about the people behind the bar as well as the people lounging around the tables or slot machines. It's a cash only place so make sure you go to the ATM before coming inside. There's a jukebox where you can pick out some music and dance in the small area in front of it. Just please respect the other people in the bar; don't pick lame music. That's just cruel. If you're having a night out in downtown Mac and need a place to chill, it's definitely a place you might want to drop in for a while.

Burgers are great and so are chef salads for healthier option. Feel like you're back in the olden days smoking bar without the smoke.

Been going to the Moon for many years now.The service is always excellent and if you want stick to your ribs American cooking this is the place to go.Simple food but always cooked to perfection ,even their homemade ranch dressing makes the simple salads they serve absolutely delicious.My favorite the gigantic chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and country gravy is incredibly satisfying ..For simple American fare you won't find anyplace better..
