The Blue Pig

Really nice little metal/ rock show venue in a place where you wouldn't expect it - out in the 'burbs in the middle of a well-kept residential neighborhood (the police department is about four blocks down the street which looks like blue-collar Mayberry).  It's cool that the residents don't complain about noise or rock patrons walking past their property, as would happen in many other towns!  Found this place to be very clean (including restrooms), friendly staff, good sound, some great local beers on tap at decent prices, and general enjoyable atmosphere.  The owners deserve a gold star for keeping this business going on a block where nearby businesses appear to have closed.  I would return!

(Note that this bar doesn't have an ATM and there doesn't seem to be one anywhere nearby, so if you're planning on needing cash, make sure to bring it with you - don't count on getting it there. )
