Fabulous dining option with a great wine/beer list!
This charming spot was right up our alley and my husband and I enjoyed every moment of it. We had a cheese plate consisting of 5 cheeses - each more flavorful than the last. We then tried the salmon bites and the tuna noodle casserole. I didn't even taste my husband's salmon, because I was in heaven with my tuna noodle casserole. That casserole will haunt my dreams until I go back to Vero to have it again.
We finished our meals with mini desserts that were small in size but huge in taste and enjoyment. I'd recommend this small dining spot time and time again to anyone that would be willing to check it out.
I loved this place. Â We went on a Friday night and it was pretty empty when we arrived and we were able to snag two couches so we could save a seat for the other couple we were meeting. Â The two couches were facing one another with a large table in between. Â Perfect for a game of Scrabble. Â Low and behold, Blue Star has a bunch of different board games to choose from while you are sipping on wine and snacking on small bites. Â By 10 PM, Blue star had quickly filled up with groups of people playing games. Â
I tried a couple wines and had a blueberry apple cider. Â The service was fantastic. Â We also ordered some small bites. Â We tried some cheese and had the salmon bites which I would order again in a heartbeat. Â The creme brulee was awesome as well.
I will definitely be back next time I visit Vero Beach!
