Food is always good- Especially enjoy the veggie burger, cheap tacos on taco Tuesday, everything on the brunch menu on Sundays, and the chili mac n cheese. $1.75 Pbrs, one of the cheapest in town. $4 High Life pitchers on Tuesdays.
Really enjoying eating earlier in the day there, but the service can sometimes be a little slow and unenthusiastic.

Pool tables, jukebox, pinball, a couple of TVs at the ends of bar, and a project screen for big games, table seating for large groups or just a couple of people, convenient downtown location, next to a tattoo/piercing place (in case you let drunk get the best of you and make drunk decisions), good music shows (occasional comedy/burlesque/dance party/charity events, etc). TWO ladie's bathrooms. Owner and staff are all good, friendly, and generally provide great service, unless the place is packed out.

Hands down my favorite local bar to go to in Boone, always recommend it in the top three choices to out-of-towners.

You guys! They have two ladies' rooms!!! I imagine they come in handy on busy nights. I thought it was really nice touch.

My husband and I stopped in for a snack as we were passing through town. The beer list was good, the service was friendly, and nachos were surprisingly tasty.

I loved all the seating options, the pool tables, and the old school arcade games. They also have neat, though kind of confusing, decor that combines 50s diner with mid-century modern and a little rustic charm.

    Great option on King St.

Came here on a Friday night. Very good live music, although it was loud, too loud to really talk to anyone. Hip, busy scene. The bathroom situation kinda stinks. They probably need to expand it for the number of people who come here. Young, good-lookin crowds.

MUST go here for brunch! They have the most delicious brunch menu that is the perfect mix of fresh and savory. Every time I visit my younger brother at ASU we eat Sunday brunch here because of the cool eclectic atmosphere and the delicious food. They have great coffee, the bacon is heavenly, and the prices are fair. 4 stars only because the service can be a little slow, but besides that this is the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday morning.

Boone Saloon is a great spot to hang and grab a few drinks on King St.  The outside is unassuming but, once inside, the modern design and plenty of space makes for a great vibe.  There is a great beer selection and the service is good too!

Definitely more of a bar than restaurant in Boone. The only food I've ever heard of is taco Tuesdays, which doesn't involve very many taco's but does involve a lot of people packing the place to get drunk. Yay! Not a lot of seating when it gets busy at night but they do have some pool tables and it is located right off King Street.

Great local bar! Pool tables, jukebox, local beer on tap, live bands, $1 PBRs, Sunday brunch, this place has it all.

If you are there on a Tuesday, don't miss Taco Tuesday, yummy tacos for cheap, cheap, cheap.

If you aren't there on a Tuesday, try some of their other food, everything's delicious. I like the veggie burger and the salmon. Or visit on Sunday for brunch. Its all reasonably priced.

It has recently been renovated after a fire.

I think this is the best bar in Boone!

Came on a Friday night when there weren't any bands playing. The vibe is very chill and laid-back. The jukebox was lacking good music and the lights were too bright for a "bar" atmosphere. Drinks were pretty decent and the prices are good comparing them to the Miami prices that I am used to.

Bell's Two Hearted on draft and extremely reasonably priced. I love it. Definitely bucks the cheap-beer-college-town image. Can't review the food.

Taco Tuesday, good beer selection, great live music, pool tables, funky atmosphere, terrific jukebox and a friendly/lively crowd in a convenient location make this the best bar in Boone, hands down. They pull down the projector screen for major sporting events and the bartenders/owners are great. The food is typical bar fare with a little extra treatment (try the veggie tacos and the salt/vinegar fries). Foothills & Bells beers typically on draft = Me happy!

Not sure why this is under "restaurants"- we went here to hear a friend of a friend's band play- it was the birthday bonanza, and there were just tons of people crowded in. Really wholesome crowd overall - but everyone seemed like they were having a blast. 5-6 beers on tap, several others/wine/etc available at the bar.  Live music, but also a jukebox, 2 pool tables, smokers about (boo!), but once the lights dimmed, could have been anywhere in Cali with the live local music vibe. 'cept that it was blue-grass and that doesn't happen too often in my neck o the woods. Dug it overall. 'cept for the smoke- gotten a bit used to smoke-free zones. Not many tattoo'ed peeps that night, but thankfully, it's next door to a tattoo parlor for a nice mix of cultures.
