As far as burgers go, I'd take it over fast food any day, but it won't be my first thought or destination.
Once you get past the oddly designed front bar (there really isn't a whole heck of a lotta space up there), the place opens up. I like the idea of the patio area, but we were inside on this trip. There was a TV located near our table, but it wasn't turned on. So, I have no idea if it was broken or just off.
In our continued tour of Laramie eateries, we found ourselves at BiaB on a Friday evening. Now, normally, I'm all about some wangs, but I just wasn't feeling it. So, I opted for a burger. In fact, I opted for the Blue Burger. I'm still wondering where the "blue" in that comes from (strike 1). The fries are handcut and fried. They weren't bad, but not spectacular, either. As for the beer...well, there looked to be a decent selection, but if you're looking for a list, better hope your waitress has it written on the back of her order pad. Otherwise, there isn't one. I snagged an Odell Easy Street, not knowing if I was getting bottle or draught, and was a little surprised to be handed just the bottle and no glass. I could care less if it's a chilled glass, but one does not serve an unfiltered wheat beer in a bottle (strike 2).
The prices aren't awful. I'm curious about the person with a $50 lunch tab. Mayhaps they ordered a side of gold for dipping their wings? We had two burgers and two beers. Before tip, the bill was $27.
In any case, the next time I'm in the mood for wings, we'll give BiaB another whirl. Until then, I'll hit up somewhere else for a better burger.
