Ranger Lounge

"The Ranger."

This place is absurd. Spent a couple nights here when I passed through Laramie this summer. Lively pool bar atmosphere with a fun, narrower layout. Pretty great large back patio with picnic tables for smoking (I don't.) Would discourage you from playing the electronic darts, not nearly as good as the real thing. Generally, good beers on tap.

This was a good place to get a feel for the local color. Some stranger walked up to my (straight, but southern) buddy and said "You have a gay haircut" and then walked away. That funny mishap aside, I'd definitely go back here.

The Ranger liquor store and lounge is a Laramie institution. A dive bar with a true Laramie attitude, the Ranger draws a crowd of both college students and Laramie residents, making for many an exciting evening.

The bar sports a popular shuffle board table and a couple pool tables. The drinks are cheap and the bar does not serve food (fortunately). A great option for your night out.
