I came here expecting nothing. The last time I was here was diuring football season and it was a Tuesday night. The girls were wearing jeans and were pretty big. Toiday, I rode my bike (From Norwalk via the Metro) looking to get away from the heat. I started out across the street at Cloud 9 and the two bartenders there were nice and the beers were cheaper. I did lunch, returned to the Cloud 9 then csme across the street to Botoms Up and liked the Nalgas and chee-chees popping out. It was early in the day and the two girls seemed friendly enough. The beers weer reasonable and I enjoyed my share. Yeah, it's a dive, but I love it. The bloakes at the bar were cool. It was daytime and I had to make my way back to Norwalk sooner or later. I will definately come back.
Review Source:Came to this spot here since it was closest to my friends house (he lives across the street) and went in. It was full of people that seemed like trouble makers. Some were with Jersey's others with construction orange uniform and right outside people smoking pot. There were two bartenders in which seemed that hey had there regular customers, right outside was a fat asian chick going around dancing and seem like giving lap dances. Me and my friend just had about three beers and headed out once a lady came in trying to sale food off the trunk of her car. Went across the street to Cloud 9 and it was worth going to Cloud 9!!!!!
Review Source:This is a dive bar (and I love a good dive bar) but it's scraping bottom here. Went on a Friday night and got there about 8pm. The place was all men...angry men... angry music. The bikini-clad bartenders were humorless but who can really blame them. Overall the vibe was aggressive and unfriendly...you know how people get either happy, angry or sad when they drink? Well this is the private watering hole for the angry drunks club. No happiness here.
When a completely hammered drug dealer insisted on getting my number, my friend and I left. The one thing I will say is that the bouncer was thoughtful enough to come over and let me know he'd step in if things got out of hand. Nice to know...but he must be used to this sort of thing.
