Brandy-Wine-Bar

The par 3 course has added a winery at the clubhouse.  We talked with the manager, Ed, tonight after a round of golf.  They have big plans for the place and intend to be open year round.  The clubhouse is very nice and they had a good selection of wine and craft beers.  Ed told us they plan on beginning a food service here which would be a nice draw.  The atmosphere is very nice,  it would be great to see this venture succeed!

The par 3 course at Brandywine Country Club is a beautiful, short, quick golf course located just outside of Peninsula in the Cuyahoga Valley NP. It is the smaller cousin to the regular course across the street. The course is 9 holes and each hole is a par 3, hence the name. The course is beautiful. It is hilly, with trees surrounding it, and from some holes you can see some of the more distant hills in the Valley. One quibble I have with the course is sometimes it can have some conditioning issues, although that has gotten better as of late. There is a small clubhouse with sells you basic food and snacks, as well as some basic golf essentials, such as balls and tees. Overall, whether you're a beginner just starting to understand the game, or you're a seasoned pro who wants to work on your short game, the Par 3 course at Brandywine is a great place to play.
