The Breakfast Nook is in the former White Castle building near the mall. I'm not sure, but it seems to be very similar to the "old country restaurant" that used to be located diagonally across the intersection.
The Nook does a pretty good job of preparing diner food. the menu is fairly large for such an operation and focuses mostly on breakfast foods including omelet and scrambles. There are some lunch/dinner entrees as well. I tried a pizza omelet which was pretty good, and quite large. The side of pancakes were also pretty good. My only qualm with the food was that the hash browns were undercooked for my liking.
I thought the Breakfast Nook was just "ok". I'll probably eat there again, but the food wasn't as good as say, Triple X (to compare apples to apples) however, the prices and portions were a lot better.
