I went there for lunch. The place is very well decorated and the buffet area is large. There is sushi and a hibachi grill but I didn't try those. I was not impressed with the quality. The Thai chicken was way overcooked and nearly burnt. I should have looked closer before I put it on my plate. The sesame chicken was better but it was also chewy. The dumplings weren't bad, but not really that great either. It was all rather ordinary. The service was very prompt and friendly, and the price is great. But the quality is just not that good. If they can improve the quality of the food this could be a great place.
Review Source:For the price, the quality is surprising. They have a variety of options, from sushi to pizza to ham to seafood. The only bad experience I have had was on a Friday for dinner. The place was packed and the quality of the food was bad, but to be expected given the traffic at the time. My suggestion is to go during weekday for lunch, have had no bad experiences and the restaurant is not packed (and the buffet is $8). They also have a 10% discount for students and an additional dollar off if you check in on facebook while present at the restaurant.
Review Source:Amazingly cheap and good quality for Chinese buffets! I love the sushi and hibachi options there! Lafayette is very limited in its selection for quality food so I'm glad this place is here and located right near the mall! Plenty of seating and great for families but not exactly designed for a ultra romantic date night but not bad at all if u desire somewhere cool to go for lunch or dinner! Ill definitely be a regular here!
