Brick Oven Cafe

This restaurant may now be known as the Sunflour Bakery.  When I was up in Tupper Lake recently, I was looking for lunch, saw this cafe in a random part of town, a block or so off the main beaten paths of town.  I decided to venture in, hoping to score a good sandwich.  Sandwiches were nowhere to be found, but they do have a lot of pastries and other baked goods.  I decided to order a couple of Boston creme doughnuts and call it a day.  The doughnuts tasted freshly baked and were of a decent portion size.  It's certainly worth a look if you're in the area.

A well-deserved update after visiting again in 2009 & 2010:  The paninis are really out of this world.  Paninis have no business being this good so far away from an Italian enclave.

The sandwiches here are AMAZING!!!!!! And really cheap for the quality.
