I've tried both Guido's and Little Italy's pizzas in Tupper Lake - Guido's wins hands down. Better crust, much better sauce (Little Italy's crust is off, and the sauce is sour, not to mention that strange after-taste). Try an order of those little fried apple guys. Very yummy with the icing sauce!
I hear they are remodeling the place - a must. For now have your pizza and fried apple turnovers delivered....
Pizza in the Adirondacks has no right to be this good. Â A "loaded" pie is the only way to go, and we think it might be the water that makes the crust so unique. Â It's not Philly-style, NY-style or Chicago-style. Â I guess that's what happens when you're named Guido and you live in Tupper Lake, NY.
