We had dinner here last night with friends.  We enjoyed every tasting we ordered.  We had the asparagus salad, chicken thighs, roasted Brussels sprouts, dates with goat cheese, beet salad, lamb meatballs, cheese and olive platter, crab cakes and dessert.  We ate outside and fair warning it does get buggy.  They do offer bug spray.  We did  enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and the view outside until it got too buggy so the restaurant accommodated us and allowed us to have dessert inside.  Would definitely  go back.
Review Source:I went to Brisa last night with my husband and another couple. We had bad weather the past few days so we were excited when it cleared up enough for us to go eat outside.
The view , to state the obvious, is amazing. The dining area is nice and inviting and we were welcomed warmly but the hostess. Our server, Torrey, was sweet, attentive and funny. Perfect combination.
We had both the red (YUM!) and white (eh) sangrias. Our favorite dishes were the brussels sprouts, shrimp, goat cheese stuffed dates and ceviche. The crab cakes were good but not amazing. I didn't really love the eggplant dip and we all thought the cauliflower might have been better as a hot dish, not a cold one. The flat breads were fine. Overall we were happy with our meal. I'm only giving four stars, not five, as I'd reserve the fifth star for food that blows me away. Being that all four of us are huge fans of Toro in Boston the bar for tapas has been set unfairly high for us. The menu could use some street corn, empanadas, etc.
We will definitely be going back here again. It's the perfect use of this little spot on the harbor and provides a laid back, delicious dining experience that I'd take over Atlantica across the way any day.
Great space, great food, great value. Â
With its sister Atlantica looming in the distance, you might worry that you've settled for second best, but nothing could be further from the truth. Â With a very tasty Tapas menu and good drinks, Brisa carves a path all its own. Â (They are going to put a Best of Brisa on the Atlantica menu) Â The garden patio could charge admission on its own with breathtaking views of the water, and a relaxed atmosphere that seems almost tropical. Â It's really sad that Brisa will be closed for the winter, but we look forward to going back when they reopen.
