If it is a nice summer day/evening and you are in the neighborhood, this is a nice place to grab a bite and people watch!
The outdoor deck overlooking the water is one of the key attributes of this place. Â There is a good amount of seating outside and given my brief peek inside, I'd say it's worth the wait if there is one. Â
The menu has a wide range of options available, including a few for the land lubbers. Â My friends were quite into the Mongolian chicken tenders, which had a dusting of dried coconut on top, however they looked a little too smothered in sauce for my tastes, so I passed on those. Â The lobster quesadilla also got high marks from the table. Â I opted to skip the appetizers and went for a fried seafood platter with clams and scallops. Â A heaping pile of Vitamin G goodness came out not long after and I was really pleased with my choice. Â The seafood was lightly fried and the scallops had that lovely sweet taste that is hard to replicate at home. Â The clams were extremely fresh. Â The platter came with fries, a small scoop of cole slaw and tarter sauce. Â I overheard another table ask about my platter, as they had missed that section on the menu. Â If the fried seafood is up your alley, just be on the look out for it, but fair warning you might miss it on the first read. Â
Our server was excellent and very patient with our party, and helped with suggestions from time to time.
Stopped by for a few drinks en route to a wedding up at the Lightkeeper's House. Â Great little find--it was scorching out and most men were in tuxes so we sat inside at the small bar. Â Could see they were doing a hopping business out on the patio by the cove, but not for us--didn't want to arrive dripping wet for the wedding. Â Bartender and staff were friendly, making lots if good suggestions. Â Johnny Daly (aka an Arnold Palmer with alcohol) seems to be the drink of the summer lately so we obliged. Definitely would like to head back and try lunch on the patio some lazy summer afternoon.
Review Source:Had dinner on the patio on the most amazing night. Â We got drink, apps, then ordered dinner. Â Everything was wonderful until they brought out my overcooked hamburger. I brought it to the attention of the waitstaff and within moments a new burger was on the grill and the manager did take it off our bill. Â The new burger came out and was awesome! Â Couldn't be happier, the safe was fantastic. Can't wait to get back there.
