What a place. Â Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Â Not the cleanest place in the world, as some of the reviews allude to, but what would you expect at a place called "Bubba's" that serves you peanuts in a cardboard cup and let's you throw the shells on the floor? Â I personally loved the decor, especially being from the Northeast - it's the type of place that chain restaurants like Texas Roadhouse try to copy, but can't even come close to. Â This place is an original - real initials carved into the wood, paper tabletops on which you can draw pictures with the crayons they give you, and a one-man acoustic band in the saloon area, belting out Southern favorites from the likes of Skynyrd, the Band, and Townes Van Zandt., to name a few.
More importantly, the food was amazing. Â Even the starter salad was good - they mix it in a metal bowl at the table and serve it to you fresh. Â But beyond that, the jalapeno cornbread was incredible, the potatoes were cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy and perfect, and the ribs were to die for. Â Even the iced tea was good. Â And the portions - you will probably have enough for lunch the next day. Â Not only incredible food here, but great value as well. Â Can't wait to go back to Bubba's!!
