stopped by on our way back to miami from cayo costa. the ambiance is nice. very nice service and beautiful view of the bay. however my gator burger was just meh. could have been canned tuna and i wouldnt have noticed. my friend ordered some oysters and they were a bit dry. never a good sign.
Review Source:Just moved to this area and went looking for some waterfront dining.
This place has changed it's name to, TOUCAN SEAFOOD RESTAURANT.
It was 230 on a sunny Saturday. Perfect for a cold beverage & seafood.
We were seated right away, but 15 minutes later we had not even got menu's.
We got up and left and no it was not that busy.
Just bimbo's thinking they were waitrons!
Won't waste another second on this review of nothing.
Stopped here on a Sunday evening when few places are open, not expecting much. We got much: a huge pile of calamari, delicately made, just right, too much for the two of us; a 12" pizza made fresh, with black olives and shrimp; chianti for me, lemonade for the kid. All was fresh, home-made. The Chianti was not the best  ever, but there are places where the appetizer would cost more than our entire bill, which came to under $25. The server was very attentive, the sun was setting on the Gulf, and Moretti's went to the top of my list of real value restaurants. We'll be back.
