Buenavista Mexican

The food just isn't that good.  Over priced on some items.  We have given this place 3 chances.  Tonight I had to get the water refills myself.  Young waiter is very slow.  Never clears the table.  Never brings the check.  Older waiter is much better.  This was our last time there...no more.

We decided to stop by since it was the newsy Mexican place in town, but some of the poor reviews on yelp had us worried. I'm not sure what their problems were, but we had a great dinner! My girlfriend and I ordered for each other, she got me the pollo caliente (a chicken breast with peppers and some tortillas on the side to be filled up) and I ordered her the Mexican Lasagna. I thought the Mexican lasagna might be a ridiculous American oozed dish, but it turned out to be quite good! It was layers of tortilla with peppers, chicken, cheese, and mushrooms in between; all served in a large bowl.

Overall, the food is good and the decor is fun.

I tried to give this place a chance but we all decided this place is the worst mexican in rome. The food is not fresh and very expensive for poor quality. The service is not that great and the decor his laughable. I miss santa fe being here and this place will mess your stomach up if you attempt it
