Subway

3 of us had lunch- service from employees was excellent.  Food was exactly as expected at Subway.  The restroom was out of order.  Like many counter service establishments, drinks are serve yourself at the fountain.  After we finished our meal, I went to the dispenser with a small water jug to add ice.  I did until the manager asked me not to.  I reminded him that we had eaten there and pointed out I only wanted a cup or 2 .  He ask that I not.  I asked if it was a health issue and he said no.  I asked why.  He claimed a health department issue.  Make up your mind, will you?  I offered to use a cup, which he still found unacceptable.  I believe the health issue to be at least incorrect or simply a lie on his part.  We will go elsewhere.  There's no excuse for allowing a rest room to stay out of order.  I don't know how long, but the sign didn't look new.  I  get not wanting a cooler taking all your ice, but this was a smaller size than their large cups.  Not allowing a refill of ice is just plain cheap.
