So, I'm giving the Cutler Ridge BWW 3 stars only because my husband likes it here. He feels the wings are pretty good. I really don't like them at all. Give me Sports Grill Special Grilled Wings dipped in Miami Heat sauce all day every day... not these syrupy sauces (even their spicy ones have a syrupy consistency, how does that happen?!).
But if you have NO where else to go nearby go here... have a couple beers first THEN have your wings.... they'll taste better that way ;)
Dined here last night and not much good to say about this restaurant. We had a table of 10. This must have been a challenge for Gina because it took forever to get anything from her. Drinks took along time and one was forgotten all together. Food order was incorrect and it took way too long to fix the issue. Ultimately on of our party never received her meal. Tracking Gina down for anything was a chore. My wife had to leave the table to find her for our check and had to get up again to find her for our change. At one point we thought she simply left for the night. Half our party enjoyed their meals, the chicken wrap was not impressive and the Caesar salad was eh. The chicken sandwich went in the oil that was not back to recovery temp and so it soaked up the oil. The wings were good and that's the best bet here. Don't go in expecting much and you won't be too disappointed.
Review Source:Meh... I wasn't impressed. Chicken wings were...ordinary..and on the smallish side...and...pricy... considering (like most places)  a 'wing' is actually half a wing.. 18 (half wings for $17.27) so  the 9 wings  are about 2 bucks each... I really didn't love the sauces either...parm-garlic was too intense, bar-b-que- was  out-of-a-bottle ordinary,  teriyaki was good...but for some reason the little container was only one third full.
The others, accending in spiciness order I can't comment on. The Onion rings, decent..crunchy, Â were not as good as Tony Romas,(which seems not to have much else good of late) but that's for another review. Â Good celery sticks and blue cheese, though!..
All in all, not memorable and it's not likely I'll try them again. Now!! if you reeeaaaly want to try some yummy wings that are succulent, large, meaty and don't require any sauce, go to Ho Wah in the Publix shopping center behind Shortys on about 113 ave. and Bird. They also prepare  a toothsome honey-garlic wing....and now I know what I want for dinner!!
This is a great place to stop in and eat with the family, after work drinks in the bar area, good tasting wings and nice layout. We've been going here since it opened for lunch and dinner.
- Prices are reasonable.
- Our favorite waitress is CAROL, because she is quick, so efficient, and always remembers what beverages and items we perfer.
yes, i'm fan of hot wings and am def a sauce man and this place does have its share of them from sweet to crazy hot!
this particular location, the parking is plenty and free... the wait is usually the pits so arrive hungry, not starving! sports fans, there are TVs everywhere! there is also a trivia game for everyone to partake in...
do bring wipes to sanitize everything though... inc the trivia remotes... cheers!
I came here with my son to watch a football game and was pleasantly surprised by the wings. They were huge, with lots of flavor. My sons grilled chicken fingers were ok, as were the fries. The beer was huge but a bit on the expensive side. We had a chocolate cake for desert that could have been better but my son liked it. Unfortunately, we spent a lot of time waiting for a table, even though many were open. We requested a game in particular and they told us we had to wait. There were three tables open in front of two TVs with that game on but we waited anyway. It was busy but there were plenty of tables. The service was good. Our waitress was quick and watching out for us the entire time we were there. Great place to watch some sports.
Review Source:The flavors available for the wings are pretty good. The wings themselves are ok, definitely not the best around. The onion rings are awesome and the sauce they have for them is pretty good. Like most have said, service does suck. One incident for example was one time we went during a Heat game. It was full but not packed. As we walked up, with my 3 year old and 6 month old in tow, I saw that there was a table available outside on the patio. There was a wait and saw that one one was being called to sit at that table. I figured people didn't want to sit out there. I asked the hostess if we can sit there since no one is taking it and it seemed like she didn't know the table was available. She said that she needed to offer it to the people before me first...mind you...she didn't even know the table was available. What kind of hostess is that considering there were about 5 families waiting to be sat. Seating arrangement sucks and the servers are a bunch of rookies. You usually have to wave them down to get you napkins or refills and pre-bussing is none existant. This is why we now just order the wing to go! Â If I can just get the wife to like a different place!
Review Source:This BBW place is the best thing in Southland Mall. In fact, it doesn't even belong here but it's not too far so I'm glad it's there.
Very spacious with ample seating and TVs. Service is great and of course with many chicken wings and beer to choose from.
You can definitely bring kids here to have a good time, but if you've left your kids at home I suggest going to the bar area. Like how that separation is :)
Eh. This place gets a thumbs up for the ambience- plenty of tv's, cold beer. With a name like buffalo wild wings, you would think the wings are outstanding, but they are just good. They have a bunch of sauces that you can choose to have your winds rolled in, and I think I have had them all. Pretty good, but if I get a hankering for wings I'll go to hole in the wall. My kids get the corn dog bites, and again they are just okay. Service wasnt bad.
Review Source:I love this BWW location. It's relatively new meaning it's a lot cleaner than some of their other locations, it's close to home, and its a fun location for a good sports game.
Despite the restaurant being named after their wild wings, I don't really find anything wild about them so I usually order something else. If you're not in the mood for an entree, try their sampler and DEFINITELY try the spinach dip with pita chips-- my 3 year old can devour that appetizer by himself if I let him. Their burgers are great but if you don't like any sauce other than ketchup on yours, I'd let the server know before ordering.
Oh, and ask for their beer specials they usually have some pretty good deals.
Enjoy!
This has recently become my go-to place when I'm craving that greasy, bad, american food type dinner.
Out of the BWW I frequent this is my favorite. The waitresses and waiters are super awesome and always make sure to accomodate you and the customers in this area are fun.
There are TV's everywhere showing different types of games and the music playlist is great. Go during a big game and the accumulated energy is awesome.
I love their boneless wings! Medium spice is the best for me (enough to make my lips burn but thats it) but they have a large selection of sauces to choose from.
The drinks are a bit pricey but super delicious! Their bar tender definitely knows how to make a drink.
A lot of my friends really like the fried pickles. Not my thing but they seem to be a hit.
Came on a Thursday to try out the boneless and was less than impressed. They're extremely tiny and barely had any flavor. If it were not for the sauces, this place would have nothing going for it. And not even those are that good. Actually got to try some burger sliders this time along with a burger with pulled pork, onion ring, and bbq sauce and was extremely disappointed in both. Lack of flavor, frozen patties, little amounts of cheese, and extremely well done meat do not good burgers make. I really hope this place starts getting it together. Because at this rate, not even its Tuesday and Thursday deals will attract me.
Review Source:mediocre food, entertaining atmosphere.
what is it?
this place is a mancave. video screens all around the room, decent sound system, 2-3 star food. its a sports bar with a decent "toy" budget.
food.
i ordered a small order of mango habanero wings just for the experience and some kind of flip sandwich or whatever they called it. the wings were good. the mango habanero sauce is deceiving. starts sweet and yummy and then the fire kicks in.
the flip flop whatever they call it sandwich was boring. it was a philly cheese steak concoction. you had sliced beef, cheese, BBQ sauce, ranch (which i opted out of as i hate ranch), and french fries all inside of a flatbread. it was like communism, looked better on paper than in real life. the sandwich was boring.
games.
they have wireless game consoles that they pass to the patrons to play while they wait for their meals. oddly enough, this was the best part of the whole experience. the games move along a bit slow (maybe to compensate for jock brain) but the trivia questions are challenging. if it wasn't for the trivia games, i would have been really bummed about this place.
everything else.
service was good. waitress was on top of things and quick. kitchen was slow as all hell though. bathrooms were ok. cleanest bar bathroom i have ever seen but i wouldn't want to be the parent that has to take their kid in there.
overall.
the TV commercials make this place seem better than it really is. its ok for a group of guys to go hang out at. keep your food expectations low.
Came here for the first time on a Saturday and the place was pretty empty for a Sport Bar!! Huge tv's everywhere and I was overwhelmed.
The waitress was really nice and explained the menu and sauces. They are all about the wings so I ordered wings. I decided to get 12 she told me I can get 6 of one sauce and 6 of another. I chose honey BBQ and sweet BBQ not much of a difference. When the wings came out I thought they were bird wings instead of chicken wings. Maybe they are baby chicken wings. Glad I ordered 12 and onion rings.
They have many sauces to choose from you cant complain about that. I personally would prefer the sauce on the side as to not have them soaked and slimy, my preference.
I was entertained with the Buzz game which is a game played in all the Buffalo Wild Wings nation wide and there is a remote console on each table for the guest to play. This is a great idea because it  keeps you busy and not wondering when your food is coming.
I definitely will be going back and get my sauce on the side, I just need to make sure it not a crazy sports day or else the crowd will be crazy and loud.
Wings & Trivia=Love it!
So you can play games like trivia against people in the place & in other cities w/other locations...soooo fun especially if you are a competitive person. And the wings were great. Love all the options for sauces!! The cheese fries were average. Love how they keep beer cold w/mini taps. I was super impressed that the server/bartender came & shook the hands of his customers & introduced himself. I was kinda stunned since this is def not the norm for restaurant servers. The manager even came around to check on everyone. The service was good but we got there early around 4 during the week when we left a few hours later it was PACKED. There are a ton of specials of the day...but the only thing I didn't get was why they did not have Wednesday as Wing Wednesday...seems obvious.
My new fav place down south to get my fingers sticky, get my wing fix, get my game face on, watch sports, & even listen to karaoke.
My new spot for Thursday nights. Â Cheap beer, huge TVs with NFL, and the food is cheap.
I'm not going to lie, just the fact that it is located in Southland Mall was a huge turn off. Â But I figure I'd give it a chance anyways.... Â
Service is friendly and attentive. Â Despite other Yelper's reviews, never have an empty beer, and no rush to get out of there. Â
Although I haven't experimented much outside of the boneless wings, the potatoe wedges are pretty good. Â Just make sure to order them with cheese.
All and all pretty solid place for a laid back not mobbed sports bar. Â
Oh and the trivia is awesome, look me up IKILLTREES. Â
Did I mention free UFC!?!
You're losing stars B-dubs!
I show up on a Tuesday night, with some friends, for their 50 cent wing special. We sit in the bar area. There are only 2 servers for about 20 tables and the whole bar. Needless to say, the service SUCKED. It took over an hour to get my food. Instead of bringing out everyone's food at once, they brought out the food sporadically over a 30 minute period of time. My water was empty for over 5 minutes. I had to flag someone down for a refill. The food was still as tasty as ever though!
Well I was hovering around a 1-3 star rating. Â Honestly the service was great. Â My waitress April was top notch, explaining the specials and taking the time to give the attention an excellent server would give. Â I walked out the door after a 2-hour happy hour with a large group of coworkers thinking this place had almost earned 3 stars. Â The food was far less than mediocre with few highlights (chilli con queso app) and the rest vast blandness of BBQ nachos, boneless wings, and the chips and salsa (horrible). Â The "large selection of beers" consists of mostly domestic highlights like Bud, Miller, and Coors products. Â
The top notch service and upbeat atmosphere made up for the crappy less than run of the mill food for the couple hours I spent in the place. Â I placed a take out order that cost double my bar tab and took some food home for the hubby. Â Get home, unwrap the gross cheeseburger sliders and fries, then the wings. Â There was a medium length, thick black hair attached to the first wing I grabbed. Â That's it. Â I'm done playing nice this place is just friggin gross. Â STAY AWAY.
ive been to a couple BWW. I remember when i was in college up in Tallahassee they would do a 35 cent wing Tuesday. It was packed and i loved it. But then a local bar started doing 25 cent wings. Â I never looked back so when they opened on in Southland Mall i was down to give it a try. Â The only issue was they werent that great. Their wings are small and their sauces are pretty generic. Â For the price they make you pay (roughtly 60 cents a wing) its not that good. If you want to watch a sporting event i guess the place is okay but for a place that really only has wings. They are subpar at best. Go elsewhere in the area if you can
Review Source:I went to this BWW only once with a group of friends just for drinks and appetizers. We ordered buffalo wings which were pretty good, and the sauces were awesome. They have this one dipping sauce called blazin', that the waiter kept talking about saying it is extremely hot and all that jazz so I wanted to see how hot it actually was. HOLY CRAP my mouth was on fire! I drank 5 glasses of water afterwards, and get this I only put a little tiny smudge on my wing - so you can imagine how freaking hot the sauce blazin' is. Wheph never trying that sauce again! We also ordered the roasted garlic mushrooms, which were amazing!! I'm a mushroom lover, so this was a must to order. The service we had was awesome! We all loved our waiter! He was funny, engertic, outgoing, and was just having plain fun with us. There are TVs all over the place, so for the guys its a great place to watch a game...
Review Source:Just so the wing fans know, a Buffalo Wild Wings has now opened at Dolphin Mall. I went opening week and so far I gave them a 4 out of 5 because I think they were still working out the kinks. For me who lives in Miami Springs, this is a much more convenient location so I know I will be hitting it alot more often.
Review Source:I dont get it.
The restaurant itself is very low budget. Basically just a big room with cheap tables and chairs and a bunch of TVs. I would imagine that this chain would have offered a more interested environment. Very boring. Â
Lets move on to the food. We ordered a sampler, hot wings, and mild wings. The wings were marginal and the sampler wasnt much better.
Last but not least the service was horrible. One of the owners was present. My fiance wanted to speak to him about the poor service and he refused to speak to her. He rudely waved her away.
I can't believe that a group of out of towners think they can just come into Miami and  treat the locals this way.
I hope others will join us in the boycotting of this dump.
I absolutely love the proximity of this place to my house. I no longer have to travel further north to go to a good sports bar to watch a game, get some wings and have a beer. They have tons of different flavors of sauces for wings so if you like trying new things, you will have plenty of choices. I absolutely love this place. I go here all the time after work just to unwind and have a brew and get some good grub. If you find yourself in the area of Southland Mall, you should stop in and pay them a visit.
Review Source:First, I did not have wings! So, I will definitely have to update!
But what I did have was OK. (Grilled Chicken Sandwich) Nothing great, but was not inedible. The fries were actually really good; thin and salty.
Our server was nice but inexperienced. Overall, I was not too impressed by this BWW but I know I have to give it another go because I didn't have wings.
This place is great for anyone who loves spicy wings. There is plenty of TVs to watch the games and hang out. This place is well worth the drive if you are not from the Cutler Bay (Cutler Ridge) area. The Asian Zing wings are so good. You have to check this place out. It has a bar in the back , an outside area in the front and a regular dinner area. You can also do a wings challenge to see how tough you are. Warning those wings are extra hot for the challenge.
Review Source:I'm a huge wing fan, as is my husband. So you can imagine our glee when we discovered this place over in Southland mall. Wings are awesome, just about anything on the menu can be smothered in one of their 20-something sauces, my all time favorite being Spicy Garlic.
The only reason  I wasn't able to give them five stars was the sporadic service that I've recieved. The first time we were there it was excellent, second time mediocre, and the last time we literally had to yell across the (empty) room at our server after waiting nearly an hour for refills/ our food/ our bill. I recommend take out (especially on 50 cent wing tuesdays). You can get all of the wing goodness with none of the incompetent server wait time!
I've been here countless time, when they first opened my husband and I went every Wednesday because the food is good and we enjoy the atmosphere. They have flat screen TVs around the perimeter of the room playing all sorts of different sporting events. As well as trivia and poker games that everyone can join in on.
We usually order chicken wings, buffalo chips, and drinks. I love the buffalo chips because they are a diff rent take on boring old french fries and they have more surface area to smother bleu cheese on! The hubby will occasionally have the Jack Daddy Burger (I think that's what it's called) which is your typical burger topped with pulled pork and crispy onion rings. Sounds delicious? It is.
We get the wings naked (don't worry they're not shy) with the sauces on the side and bleu cheese of course. So far we have tried the teryaki, mild, medium, BBQ, Parmesan garlic, mango habañero, and Caribbean jerk sauces. The last two on that list were tricky little sauces... example "mmm this is kinda sweet *fire fire fire in your mouth and down your throat* damn! I would recommend trying a few on your first visit.
I've heard from a lot of my friends that this place has the best wings to offer, so one day after cheerleading practice, when my mom offered to take me for lunch, I didn't put up a fight. We went to the location in Cutler Bay in Southland Mall, which has just opened, and the decor was beautiful! It's a great place for the guys to go watch the game; like Hooters, but with good food. They have maybe 15 plasma TV's set around the entire restaurant showcasing a variety of games happening at the moment.
Our waiter, Jean, was very cute :) He was also very attentive and an extremely sweet guy. We ordered the boneless wings (I don't really recommend this if you want the full Buffalo Wild Wings experience), and we were able to split them in half; I ordered the Sweet BBQ, and my mom ordered the Asian Zing(?). Â They messed up my order and brought me the Honey BBQ, and since I have an extremely sensitive palate, it was a little bit too spicy for me. However, the meal was delicious. The mozzarella sticks were AMAZING, and the service was great, they brought out my new order quickly and I got a lot of sincere apologies from Jean when he realized his mistake.
All in all, it was a good experience, just PLEASE stay away from their contest.. 12 wings spun in their BLAZIN' sauce in 6 minutes. People have thrown up, and grown men have cried.. :x
I wish I could give this location zero stars.
I am a fan of the Buffalo Wild Wings chain. Unlike many national chain restaurants of this type (Fridays, Hooters, Joe's Crab Shack, etc), BWW has reliable and tasty food and a better than average atmosphere. I was pretty excited to see they opened one near my mother's house in Cutler Bay.
I ordered take out wings on a Saturday night to bring to a friend's party. They were good, but not great. I chalked it up to not being eaten fast enough at the party. My family asked to go for dinner the next day and I thought, "why not?"
I should have said "no". The food was good, solid BWW fare. The service was, by far, the worst service I've ever received at any restaurant ever. We sat down at 6PM and didn't leave until 9PM. In that time, it took the waitress 20 minutes to take our order, 20 minutes to get us drinks. After waiting over 45 minutes to receive our appetizers (!), we asked for the manager. While we were waiting for the manager, the table next to us got up and left after waiting 25 minutes just to have this same waitress take their drink order.
The first manager came over and got us our food within 10 minutes, with the exception of my 6-year-old son's kids meal, which took an extra 10 minutes. There were a few mistakes on the ticket thanks to the incompetent  waitress, but he corrected them immediately.
One would assume that after involving the manager, we would have gotten excellent service from that point on. No. The waitress was never around. When we finally did seek her out to order more drinks, she got the order wrong and then took another 20 minutes.
The straw that broke the camel's back, however, was dessert. Shame on us for even bothering to order dessert, but I'd promised my son. Before ordering, we asked her how long the desserts would take and were told it would only be a few minutes. It took 25 minutes to get the desserts. Every one of them had melted ice cream. Not "melting", but "melted". It was vanilla soup. The lone dessert that wasn't suffering from dairy meltdown was my son's cheesecake which was frozen solid.
We asked for the manager again. This time we got a different manager (we had been there so long, the first manager had obviously gone home). The second manager vacillated  between being apathetic and confrontational. He asked the waitress to come out with him and she proceeded to yell at us while we were trying to explain the situation. The manager let her do this for about 5 minutes before he told her to walk away. We tried to give the waitress the benefit of the doubt, perhaps she had too many tables? No, she had three tables all night. Three. He just stared at us while we explained what we had been through. He didn't offer a single apology. I explained to him that enough was enough. I could handle a mistake, but the desserts were the clear indication that this waitress let our food sit on the pass long enough to fully melt.
I told him there was no way we were paying for the desserts. He begrudgingly took them off the bill, but again offered us nothing more than a paltry "fine". No full blown apology.
I wasn't looking for a free meal, but I would have liked something beyond a confrontational waitress and apathetic manager. I may be a fan of BWW, but I would never go anywhere near this location again. I would recommend anyone avoid it like the plague. Duffy's Irish Pub on Eureka, just west of Franjo has good wings and Sunset Grill on Sunset has fantastic wings. Choose one of those restaurants for good food and great service. Don't bother with this location of Buffalo Wild Wings.
Update: I called from my home in NJ the next day and spoke with another manager, Steven. He was very apologetic and thanked me for bringing the issue to his attention. The server we had apparently has already been moved to a different job at the restaurant - one with little contact with customers. I would give this locational one more try having received good customer service from Steven.
Just opened, apparently very popular up north, I went with a bunch of buddies from Detroit that are chicken wing connoisseurs that told me this is where you go if you like spicy chicken. The decor was a mix between TGI Fridays & Hops, with a fine array of big screen TVs this is the place to go to for the game. With tall glasses of beer going for about $4 you can defiantly get your rowdiness up.
We kept the menu simple being a lot of our first time, we went 50 wings, 25 Mango Habanero & 25 Spicy Garlic. There's about 20 different sauces listed from sweet to BLAZIN'. Mango habanero was 3rd to last in spiciness and it was really kicking through the sweetness of the mango, be careful the sauce is so spicy that it will burn your lips.
I'm a fan of spicy foods so I couldn't leave without trying the hottest wings they had. Our waitress, the lovely Paris, gave us a face of like "are you sure you guys want that?" I was told I wouldn't be able to make it through one, so we ordered one for everyone at the table and sent it down the pipe, wow this is burn the inside, outside of you mouth and anyone around you HOT. The wings were amazingly-blazin'ly delicious, but wow was service terrible even with two managers on deck. We wanted to watch the Panther's game on FSN, and they didn't have the channel, it took like 30 minutes to get our first round of beers out, another 40 to get those last 6 blazin' wings out. I'm guessing everything is new and people are finding their groove. But, this place surprised the hell out of me.
