Let me first say the food was okay. Typical bar food, not the worst, not the best. The service was actually pretty good until we were paying, then the waitress (M*ch*l*) got WEIRD???
We noticed a BWW on the way home from my daughter's martial arts training. Â She begged to try it, because her friends go on about how great the food is. I said, maybe later.
We ended up eating there last night, 5-9-2013, splurging on greasy bar food, because my daughter had a rough day.
Break down of a rough day (relevant for waitress acting WEIRD): Â Dental appt-3 cavities filled, didn't eat much lunch due to novocaine, swam laps for 45 mins after school, martial arts training for an hour, coming home and crashing for about three hrs before waking hungry at around 9:45pm. And to top everything, my hot water heater busted, flooding most of our house, restoration company has torn out sheetrock and flooring (so, house is flipped upside down).
Went to BWW at about 10:10 pm, there was another family there with kids, no big deal. By 11:00 pm we were getting to-go boxes and paying. The waitress asked me about my full name, then my daughter's name, age, grade, and where she attends school (Not Friendly, but like the Spanish Inquisition or Hitler Germany).
When we got home my daughter said she wished we hadn't of eaten there, because the waitress CREEPED her out!!! Maybe just not a kid friendly place??????
Thanks fellow Yelpers for your reviews! Â After reading, I chose the Gilbert location and knew I'd order wings since it was written BWW should stick to what they do best. Â We were promptly greeted and seated. Â Our server was both friendly and helpful. Â At first glance the wing prices may seem a little high (at least they did to me). Â Let me assure you the wings are not those from a cornish hen, size and quality are there. Â We ordered blazin' and asian wings which were okay-plus, Â served hot and fresh. Â We also ordered the nacho trio which was quite interesting as it had ingredients you wouldn't normally expect - it says so on the menu so no surprise - the only downfall being fried diced chicken which quickly became soggy. Â All in all - good. Â I couldn't find prices on their "drinks" menu, this of course after having ordered. Â Fearing the worst, the Bloody Mary my husband ordered was $6 - a fairly standard price every where. Â As far as a sports bar goes, there are screens everywhere, large and small. Â During our visit there was a hockey game on a projection screen and I could actually see the puck.
