Their wings are so good but anything else on the menu is just okay. Their range of sauces consists of mild to spicy to super spicy. They also have some specialty spices.that are delicious.
The only thing is they usually have crazy football fans (it is a sports bar) screaming at the tv as if their life will end if a certain team will in the game and that's not really my thing. However, the restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly!
I have been here multiple times. Â While the service can vary, the food quality and consistency do not. Â One negative is that I find the dining room temperature to be too cold on most occasions. Â Also parking is scarce so I try not to come at peak times. Â Bottom line is that I always enjoy the wings and the cheeseburger is also very good.
Review Source:The only reason this is rated a 3 is because of the service.
Food: You can't beat Wind Tuesdays and Boneless Thursdays. These are the ONLY days I will come to get their wings, because they are cheap and reasonably priced. On any other days, forget a bout it. Cheers to cheap food.
Atmosphere: Atmosphere is good, with either families visiting JMU students, sports fans, or the college crowd. It can get crowded at times, especially Tuesdays and Thursdays. I don't think other times, since there are better things to do.
Service: Slow. Downright slow slow slow. I even fill up my own drink because they are slow to do it. There is only ONE, I repeat ONE PERSON who is EXCELLENT at serving people. I am sorry I forgot your name, but he is the young/middle-aged African American waiter (I think he is a manager?) He is the only person in the world who is fast, friendly, and refills your drinks without asking.
Alcohol: A full bar. Sometimes there are good drink specials, but most of the time there isn't. Your going to spend a pretty penny if your trying to get wasted here.
Overall the food is good and price isnt that bad (on the special days). I would definitely come back (on those days).
I love chicken wings and try them at any restaurant that serves them. Â I used to go to BW3 frequently, but the food quality has been gradually declining over the years.
On recent visits the wing temperature has been inconsistent and the wings have either been barely sauced or drowning it sauce.
This is still a good place to grab a beer, watch a game and play some video trivia.
BWW is way too hyped. Hot bbq and medium boneless wings. Medium and parmesan garlic. Meh click-u is far superior. wings and boneless wings were standard quality, maybe even a bit below standard. sauces werent anything to brag about, just plain nothing great. skip this chain and find some local spot instead
Review Source:Was on a five day visit to Harrisonburg and ate here three times. Â Who doesn't love buffalo and boneless wings. Â There are specials on specific nights. Â My first night here, was karaoke night. Â The last night I visited there was a crowd watching Ultimate Fighting Championship. Â Lots of JMU folks. Â Good vibe though.
Review Source:If you're in the 'burg for school or just passing through on your way to some place much cooler.... and you have a hankerin for some wings... BW3's is the place to be! Not only did they pop my wing cherry with yummy deliciousness... they also have a great bar staff, and entertainment. Depending on the night of the week you can find karaoke, or live bands. They also have one night of the week where their wings are super cheap, so keep an eye on what they have goin on, and get your tooshie over there to sit down and enjoy the BW3s experience.
