I have eaten here enough times to write an educated review, and honestly, the last couple times I went here, the food has not been as good as it used to be. I usually order the boneless wings, and they have always been hot and fresh, with plenty of sauce. The last couple times, though, the boneless wings have been dry, not too hot (temperature-wise), and not enough sauce. The food isn't as fresh. It felt like a complete waste of money to have eaten there the last time, and I have decided that that WAS the last time I would eat there. There are so many better places to get some good-quality food, so don't waste your time here unless you are there to watch sports and have a couple drinks, which, incidentally, are way over-priced anyway. It's too bad because I used to love this place, but whatever changes were made, they weren't effective.
Review Source:The wings here are obviously the star of the show. At this place you have a lot to choose from when it comes to sauces and 2 types of wings which are traditional and boneless. Many of the flavors taste very good, I recommend the Asian Zing, Hot BBQ, and Mango Habanero. There is also some dry seasoned flavors of wings to choose from. The wings are on the small side and many I've found have broken bones in them so you gotta be careful. Other than that they are very tasty and the boneless wings are the same if just want all meat. Out of everything else I tried here which is just the Chili Con Queso Dip with tortilla chips and their fries, they are great also. I really recommend giving the Chili Con Queso Dip, it's very filling and tastes amazing. The atmosphere is of a typical sports bar place and is usually very loud with so many people, TV's, and music. I give it a 4 out of 5 just because of the small traditional wings and broken bones in some of them. Otherwise everything else here is great if you don't come in expecting anything more than decent, filling comfort food.
Review Source:Very limited menu was a bit of a surprise. Focus is on wings and beer (as the name says) so when in Rome....
But OMG .... These were the most unpalatable wings ever. Tried several sauces and seasonings and found the metallic taste of the Chipolte BBQ seasoning lingered on the tongue well into the next day. Unpleasant. Fortunately, the artichoke flatbread we ordered with the wings was tasty. Â The Newcastle draft was a treat. My wife's Amstel was warm in the bottle. Â The waitress addressed the problem by bringing a glass of ice that barely fit the bottle.
The atmosphere is surprisingly outdated considering it's a chain. Â Old CRT tvs mixed with projection tvs. The sound is annoying loud from one of the tv channels - like eating dinner with the tv volume turned up to the max - commercials and all. The floor was filthy with food and rubbish under the tables - which made me cringe thinking about what the kitchen looked like considering the lack of attention to the front of the house.
Service was unremarkable. Several servers were disheveled and carelessly dressed. I couldn't help but wonder who - if anyone was in charge and paying attention to the operation.
I can't recommend this restaurant for any occasion. It fails on almost all marks.
The only reason why I am giving this place four stars is for its wings. I am a huge wings fan, and I love the variety of flavors BWW has to offer. I'd recommend the classic medium sauce on boneless wings.
I went here recently and also ordered some Hot BBQ wings. While they were delicious, they weren't as spicy as the menu had indicated.
The service wasn't bad, but it was nothing special that made me want to go out of my way and give a higher tip.
I have been to this "B-Dubs" twice. Â Both times, they were just a stop on the way to NYC from Rhode Island. Â It is inside of a mall (can't remember the name of it). Â Mango Habanero ... That's the sauce I always get whenever I get to go to a B-Dubs . Â They aren't the best wings around, but they will do! Â Service was excellent, and no problems with anything else. Â Like I said, better wings are found elsewhere, but I can settle for B-Dubs every once in a while!
Review Source:So the Husband and I have been to the one in Bridgeport and the one in Danbury. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that both were very good. The waitstaff are extremely pleasant and the food has been great in both locations. That is a very rare find. Usually you go to a chain eatery and one is good and then you go to another and it stinks(eg. Maggie McFly's in Danbury is downright awful but the other locations have been better) Â My husband LOVES the buffalo chicken sandwich. It's worth the trip to either location.
Review Source:The location of this BWW is a boon and a bane.
Being in the mall, this is where I like to grab a bite when shopping or at the movies.
Being in the mall, this is where I have to wait long , sometimes upto an hour, to get a table.
Being in the mall, I can of course make use of that time shopping!
I am a fan of their french fries. Yes, After McDonald's. these are the fries I dig for. Love their onion rings too.
Coming to wings, I am big fan of dessert heat dry rub.
Service is a hit or miss ..most of the nights we have been lucky to  receive good service though.
Once again, being in the mall, I am going to give it a 4 star, location, location, location baby!
I been here a couple of times. The food is ok. I always hear my teenage cousins raving about that place. I decided to ck it out. Nothing special. Dont go there on a Sunday unless you are a football fan. Very loud. Waited forever for a table. I wouldnt go out of my way to go here.As far as service goes. The first time we went was a weekday afternoon. Had much better service.
Review Source:Food is good, the wings are great. Â Any sports game you want is always on in this place. Â The Buzztime trivia is allot of fun also. Â Waitress's are ok, not great but a little slow sometimes. Â Bartenders are great. Â Lots of great specials for food and drinks.
Sometimes it gets to crowded especially in the winter time when people are not out on the patio. Â In the past year the crowd showing up is a little out of place. Â A friday or Saturday night is not were I would bring my family for dinner. Â Other then that its a cool place.
Okay food, okay service, nothing great other than all the TVs to watch games on.
Took 30 mins to get 12 wings and 3 pulled pork sliders. Â Almost missed our movie because it came so late. Â Maybe if I didn't have to shove it down it would have been better. Â But, when there are only 12 tables with people, it shouldn't take 30 mins for 12 wings and sliders.
I only come here for the wings. I haven't tried anything else. It's a good place to go after you've shopped around the mall or right before a movie.
The wing sauces are fantastic. I usually get Honey BBQ, Hot, Hot BBQ and Caribbean Jerk. I'm still trying to work my way up to blazin' (which won't happen anytime soon). For some reason I like this location better than Port Chester.
The servers are nice and pretty attentive, it seems like they have fun working here. Parking is available in the mall lot (as this place is located in the mall). Sunday nights seemed to always be packed because of the game so I would advise not bringing your kids here.
When I first came here, I would have given it 5 stars. The wings were amazing. Hot mango with blue cheese mmm. For some reason, the last few times I have been, the wings are declining in quality. They are slimy and undercooked.
What's so special? The outdoor seating in the summer. Nice sunsets, even at the mall.
2 Reasons why I like this place. Â Wings and Beer. Â And if you keep that in mind, this place is everything you need it to be. Â And for anyone that was blessed to attend a university that had a BW3's, you'll be happy to find out that BW3's, and Buffalo Wild Wings, are one and the same. Â
As has been said in other reviews, the wing sauces are amazing. Â The medium is my favorite, but the wife & I also sampled the Honey BBQ and the Caribbean Jerk. Â Wow! Â Really, really delicious. Â We've had a couple of salads from there.... Meh. Â The Caesar is okay. Â My wife liked the Honey BBQ Chicken Salad. Â But the wings are what shine here, people. Â Really, if you come here and don't order wings, well.... that's like going to a Mexican restaurant and ordering a burger. Â So, if you're in the mood for beer & wings, there is simply no other place to go.
About the beer... Â They have a great selection of fine draft beers. Â I believe they have 23 beers on tap.... Â They have your basic favorites (Miller Lite, Bud), several Sam offerings (Sam Summer, Boston Lager, Cherry Wheat), plenty of great imports (Bass Ale, Stella Artois, Newcastle, Heineken), but they have my absolute favorite beer.... Â Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat. Â A crisp, refreshing summer beer that leaves the after-taste of Fruity Pebbles. Â Sweet Mother of God, I love that beer. Â And if they didn't only have it in the full keg (1/2 barrel) size (rather than the 1/6 barrel logs I usually get), it would be permanently parked in my kegerator. Â But I guess I'm digressing here....
We've been to this particular establishment 3 times, and we've gotten decent  service twice, and excellent service once.  So, like most chains, the service probably ebbs and flows.  I wouldn't be surprised if the next time we go, we get crap service and then I write a scathing review trashing the place.  But so far, so good.  Definitely a good place to grab some chow while waiting for a movie.  And get your fill on soda here.  You get free refills, and it won't cost you like 12 bucks.
So if you're deciding between this place and a cool, unique joint in your neighborhood, I'd go with the cool, unique joint in your neighborhood. Â But if you've got a hankering for beer & wings, this is your place.
I used to frequent the BWW when I lived in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, so I was elated when I found out that they're putting them in up here.
We went out there on a Wednesday night a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. Â The food was delicious (I love their Garlic Mushroom appetizer thing!) and our waitress was very attentive. Â The manager came over twice to make sure we were enjoying everything, which is something I've never had happen in a chain restaurant.
I agree with my husband and will give it three stars just for being somewhere to eat before the movies. The food court at the mall is awful so you are left with few dining options.
It was my first time here and our service was pretty good considering it was around dinner time on a Saturday night. Â I am not positive but I think our server's name was Xena, like the warrior princess. Â I could have heard her wrong but I don't think so.
The food is pretty typical of a chain place. Â The wing sauces are really tasty. Â I totally dig the spicy garlic sauce. If I wasn't pregnant I'd try the nuclear because I know I coud take it!
For food I would stick with appetizers or wings. Â Though our friend ordered a bbq chicken sandwich and said it was better then he expected.
After thinking about it, and scaling it to the rest of the post mall, this place turns out to be a decent choice. Â We made the trip back this weekend.
The service can be a crapshoot, but still better than most of the malls eateries. There are plenty of tvs to watch while you wait. Â While the food is pretty good, the appetizers are where they really shine.
I wouldn't drive to milford to go there! Â But if I was stuck at the mall (ex. waiting for a movie), its a decent place to check out.
Atrocious service!!
Today I went here for a second time. The first time I went, we had slow service, but I had forgotten about it until today...
...when I had even WORSE service. Oh, how my mind was jogged.
It took our waitress 10 minutes just to get me a glass of water. And then my friend and I ordered salads, and it took OVER AN HOUR to get our salads. The waitress kept coming by telling us "It's almost ready," or "It's on it's way out," but it still took an hour. And it wasn't even that busy. My friend and I watched people come in after us, receive their food, and leave... and we still hadn't gotten served. After a while, she waitress didn't even bother to lie anymore, she just avoided us altogether. I was very close to just walking out and going to McDonald's. THAT's how fed up and hungry I was (I hate McDonalds). The food was good when it finally arrived, but I will never go back to this establishment EVER again. It was just so rediculous.
If it weren't for two things, there would be absolutely no reason to go to B-dubs. First, they have a lot of TVs, so it makes for a good place to watch whatever game you're looking for. The other reason is that they actually do have some tasty sauces for their wings.
The mango habanero combines sweet and heat to make for a good time. I especially like that the heat really builds up, so by the time you've gone through 6 of them, you're definitely feeling it.
Unfortunately, just about everything else here is not good. The service generally ranges from bad to abysmal. The non-wing type food might even be worse than Applebee's, if that's even possible. And did I mention how bad the service is?
A group of us used to actually come here every Tuesday night for a couple months. We came for cheap wings and large beers and just wanted to have a good time. But, the service was so awful, all the time, that we became a collective Eric Cartman and said "screw you guys... we're going home."
