I came here when it first opened and have been coming back every few months or so. Since day 1 the service has been really poor and it hasn't gotten any better. Like others said, restrooms are filthy. I only go to watch sports and get my wing "fix," but I usually just go to the Wing Stop a mile down the road.
Review Source:Let me preface by saying that I used to be a raging fan of B'dubs. This love affair has been dwindling faster than the value of the U.S. dollar, in the past year or two. Allow me to opine:
BW3, like Chipotle, is the model of success in restaurant franchising. I made a small fortune off of their stock (Stock ticker: BWLD), mainly due to the fact that this franchise understood growth. Growth = success. Unfortunately, with record earnings, and expansive growth, it seems apparent that a lot of the franchises, aren't monitored by corporate, as closely as they used to be. With this being said, you frequently find a BW3 that is a filthy dump. Â And, the Tyler location is a prime example of filth. I echo Todd S's remarks about the cleanliness of this location. For your reading pleasure, here's a list of facts pertaining to the Tyler location:
1. The service is atrocious.
2. The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty, and never maintained. (e.g. no paper towels, soap, etc.)
3. The food, even when not busy, takes forever.
4. The Bartender on my last visit accused the cooks of "smoking doobies out back," which results in food orders being delayed.
5. The food quality at this location is, by far, worse than other B'dubs.
I love beer; I love sports; I love wings, but I can't stomach going into this filthy B'dubs again. I really hope Management, or the Proprietor of this location starts to spend more "hands on" time, and address the problems.
I can't give this a 0 stars or I would.... HORRIBLE. We frequented the BWW here in Tyler since we have moved here and have been to many other BWW locations throughout the US. We were here recently and had the worst service I have ever had in my life.... We had to get our own drinks at the bar after waiting 20+ minutes with empty glasses, our food took 40-45 minutes and then was COLD... the manager came over because the service was so horrible and offered to take our food off... great. Well then after this we waited AGAIN for 20+ minutes for our tab at which point I went to the bar and ASKED for the tab after flagging down the bartender who was too busy flirting with all the girls to pay any attention (also at this point another patron who claimed his wife worked here said how horrible their service is!!) and I was told he had no tab for me.... after speaking to me in a very rude manner. So.... I asked again for the check and he said he couldn't get it, well I then asked since he had no check if it was fine for me to walk out... to which he responded "If you do, don't come back". So after not ONE, but TWO attempts to pay my bill for the HORRIBLE service we had... I left. We go out to eat often and have NEVER left a tab... but come on.... we offer to pay twice and you're rude and tell me no... I wouldn't be surprised if this happens frequently. This establishment needs a whole new team... otherwise it's going to be run into the ground!
Review Source:Some of the worst service I have ever had. Only go here if you want to be treated like a second rate citizen. I had to wait 15 minutes to get another beer and another 15 minutes for Stephanie to take my card so I could pay my bill. If you want good service food and service go elsewhere; maybe Dairy Queen, that should be an improvement.
Review Source:We just had lunch at probably one of the worst BWW locations I've ever been to. Here's the rundown of what happened to this eatery:
- Not pleased with the "please seat yourself" sign posted at the front, I expected better than self-serve type of service.
- Took the waitress almost 15 minutes to provide beverages after obtaining our requests.
- When the waitress was ready to take our food order, another waitress bumped in and took over her spot (WTF is that about?!)
- After food order of 12 wings and salad was placed, it took an unbearable 40-45 minutes for that to arrive! (At that point, I already made up my mind to never come back here again..)
- When my wife's wings arrived, there were 2-3 pieces of hair on them. I called the waitress over and explained what I observed. She apologized and offered another order of wings free of charge. I already lost my patience and credibility with this ridiculous restaurant and bolted out of there.
Have eaten here 3 other times food is fair, service is horrible I will not be going back. Â Long waits even when they are not busy, had trouble ordering cause the music was so loud....
Long story short; do not go to this BWW location in Tyler due to their poor service. Tell all your friends.
OK, I admit to having a wing addiction. Â I try very hard to go the independent family-run route. Â But sometimes, in deep east TX, you just need a fix. Â I have always considered BW3 as a safe bet due to the selection & beer on tap. Â However, upon my second visit to this location in a month, I'll not be back again. Â This place is disgusting. Â It wreaks of vomit & dirt. Â I didn't smell it until I had already received my food & made my way towards the restrooms (or I would have left immediately). Â The restrooms are HORRIBLE - Think highway rest stop. Â Truly the whole place needs to be steamed & disinfected. Â
As a previous poster put it, for a semi-new location, it looks like an old-run down dive. Â WingStop - here I come.
BWW is a chain that specializes in wings. Normally the food is a step above of Hooters. Based on food, I would usually give this place 3 stars, but BWW lost a star based on general filth. The last few visits have not impressed me. The floors are slippery due to grease buildup. The bathrooms are nasty. For an establishment that has not been at this location very long, the entire place looks worn down. BWW is just about the only place in Tyler that still has Players Plus trivia, but the TV's are all very dated. Not a flat screen to be seen. Avoid going on fight nights as they charge a cover and the place is packed.
Review Source:The food is always good, mango habanero is always a favorite. The only let down of this location is the hostesses. They never ever seem to know what is going on. Last time we were in there was a church group of 35 that had no reservation walk in right behind us. After about 10 minutes of confusion among the hostesses they started seating the group. So we just sat ourselves and everything was fine.
Review Source:First of all, let me just say that I'm a Buffalo Wild Wings fan for life because of Tuesday night kareoke during college at Tech. Â Something about those dang chicken wings takes me back to the carefree days!
That being said the food is good but not the best wings I've ever had or anything. Â I do love the Spicy Garlic sauce. Â Every other wing place I've been to doesn't have a sauce near as good as that one. Â It is freaking freezing every time I go in this place! But I'll definitely be back, next time I'll just bring a jacket!
