Burger King

Take this review for what it is, we are talking about a fast food chain. Some people love them and some people hate them. I took my girls there for a quick snack. They wanted nuggets and fries and that is exactly what we got.

The nuggets were hot and fresh and the fries were piping hot (its hard to beat hot french fries). This was their first time trying BK nuggets and they liked them.

I can't brag and boast and say that I will be back soon, cause that probably won't be the case, however; those of you that like a hot meal around 4pm, we got it here.

Sometimes I leave home without my lunch.  Next I am looking for a veggie burger at lunch time and this Burger King happens to be near my workplace.  Apparently the running joke at the drive-thru has the dim wit woman who works there asking me if I want cheese and bacon on my burger.....on my VEGGIE burger.  Ha ha....maybe it was mildly amusing when she asked me that the first time.  After the third time in three visits, I am beyond annoyed.  She can tell that I am annoyed because I ask her "why would I want bacon on my veggie burger? do you know what a veggie burger is?".  She ignores my questions and tells me my total.  I get to the drive-thru window and "oops" she drops my change on the ground!  I waited 10 minutes in the drive-thru line for that?!?! Never again.

The virtue and the downfall of fast food chain restaurants is that they're all alike, so you always know exactly what you're getting--in theory. This particular one has problems, and has had for awhile. I've used their drive-thru maybe 3 times in the last several years, usually because I wanted to try something I've seen in one of their ads. The first couple of times, I ended up with something other than what I'd ordered. (I know, I should have checked at the window the 2nd time, but it'd been so long I'd forgotten there had been a problem). Last night, it took a few minutes to get the pricing for the item I wanted, then after I'd ordered, they told me the broiler was being cleaned and what I wanted was unavalilable. Maybe I've just had bad luck, but if you eat here, make sure you open the wrappers and check the contents before leaving the drive-thru. Better still, if you're really craving Burger King, do yourself a favor and go to one of the ones on Chambers. They have their act together.
