Ate here with my girlfriend, son (9), and her nephew (11). Â Got there at 6pm. There was only one table left. Â Felt optimistic. Â We ordered 3 sushi rolls, two chicken udon plates, one shrimp udon, and one chicken over rice bowl. Â The house soups that they came with were ok, the miso soup my girlfriend got was lukewarm. The sushi was good enough, probably the high point of the meal. Â The udon plates were fair. Â The noodles were not steaming hot, the chicken tasted like something you would get at a fast food Japanese place in the mall. Â The shrimp were so-so. Â The chicken and rice bowl looked nice but tasted like run-of-the-mill bourbon chicken. Â
The worst was probably the service. Â 3 or 4 servers for 8 or 9 tables and they seemed to be in the weeds. Â Don't know how when a server only has 3 tables. Â The service was mediocre. Â No major problems but if you are going to compete with other restraints in the area you have to set yourself apart. Â If the food won't do it the service better. Â
Save yourself the money and go to Wasabi. Â Service and food are both better, and price is the same or better.
