The wife and I went here, because downtown and west trashley is too far away. Boy am I glad we did! If I had a place of my own, it would be exactly like this. Bottles and license plates all around, plus Foosball, darts, and a few other games. If there's a drink you want, they have it and/or can make it. The bartenders were super nice, more than any other place I've been. The owner, can't remember his name, came up immediately and welcomed us there and offered to get us something. On top of all the nice people and amazing drink/beer selection, the prices are VERY reasonable! You know that's true if it's coming from me. It can be a little overwhelming at first, but take your time and settle in. Good mixture of people, ranging from older, to middle aged, to early 20's. Music choice is KEY, punk, ska, classic rock, some good rap, even some latin guitar. Definitely going to be one of our new stops, especially with it being much closer and cheaper than down the road. Â The reason it didn't get a 5? Â The smoke was thick at times. Â Then again, I guess that is the draw of it for now to a lot of people.
Review Source:The bartenders are fantastic! They have homemade infused vodkas and a 100+ beer selection. If you hear/see a train go by, be the first to alert the bartenders for a free drink. Â Try the cherries :) Â Beware the stairs, they're a sobriety test in themselves. Â Also, take a long some eye drops...it's a small bar and it can get super smoky in there! Â In nice weather, we take our drinks downstairs to the rocking chairs on the porch.
