Have eaten here on multiple occasions and I still struggle on how to rate the restaurant, I give it a weighted 3 based on a 5 for food but a 1 for service. Â
The food is consistently good at both lunch (recommend the Chicken Parm panini) and dinner (recommend the pork chop). Â Very good selection at the bar (which, it is also worth noting, is quite visually appealing).
However, the service has never been above poor at either the bar or main dining room. Â From generally uncaring servers to slow service, they still do not seem to have the front of house in order yet. Â
One odd note is the constant tweaks to the lunch menu - when they first opened sandwiches came with both a salad and fries, few months later just fries and now just chips. Â
Overall, a nice addition to the area but questionable if it makes it given service levels (but, Kate Mantilini a block over has made it with decidedly mediocre service, so there may be hope for Fiore yet).
Went here for lunch today with my husband. Brought my 17 month old son since it was my day off. The restaurant host, Ramon, was so accommodating to our needs. He found a place for me to park my stroller out of the way and sent over a high chair for my son right away. Our server Christopher was very pleasant and on top of it. I had the egg plant parmigiana sandwich which was awesome! My husband had the risotto Al Pini which is his fav. We are regulars here. My only recommendations to the owner would be to add a changing table in the bathroom for little ones, then this place would be perfect. Food is exceptional and service is better than par. We have meet the owner here (delightful man) and we see him there all the time!
