I didn't set foot inside the restaurant, I got delivery.
The sub I ordered was of average quality and arrived within a reasonable amount of time, but when I stepped outside in the cold and the wind to complete my transaction without letting the dog escape, the delivery guy, who reeked of cigarette smoke and had brought a friend along (at least he waited in the car) was exactly a very generous tip short of my change. He offered to go all the way back out to the car to get it (if you have it in the car, then why don't you have it with the food?) but I was frozen by then and I told him not to worry about it.
Maybe it was just coincidence, but it seemed a little too contrived, and I'm thinking he gets an extra buck out of almost every cash delivery transaction. I wouldn't rule out getting delivery from there again (there aren't too many places doing late night deliveries in the bustling metropolis of Harrington, DE) but I'll have exact change ready or be prepared to wait outside for my change next time.
