Stopped in here on our way through to the Outerbanks. We bypassed the menu and grabbed the buffet so the kids could have a little of everything. Great price for what was offered. Food was good, but nothing overly impressive. Great place for a quick stop and go. Waitstaff was exceptional and very friendly.
Review Source:I was impressed. I was in Milford on business and stopped in here the other day for lunch. They have several healthy options if that's your thing. The ambiance is very small town country. It was a great cultural experience for me as an out of towner. The building doesn't look like its been renovated in 50 years, but to me it was a good thing.
The menu had a lot of variety, typical diner fare plus some extra. I ordered the baked crab cakes (picture included). It came with chicken noodle soup, mashed potatoes and stewed tomatoes. The crab cakes were massive, and I loved that I could specify baked in lieu of fried. They were also on par with any place in Baltimore. The soup was likewise very solid. I had never had stewed tomatoes, it seemed like a country thing to do, and they were pretty good as well. The mashed potatoes were a big let down though, they were clearly boxed and covered in brown gravy. Fake food equals one star deduction, everything else was very pleasant.i
