Hardee's

This particular location is a combination Hardees / Red Burrito.  We stopped in for a quick dinner since it was so close to our hotel.  Right off the bat we were a little frustrated becuase there was no line and the guy at the register didn't even acknowledge us for a while.  My husband began the countdown, but the kid took our order about 30 seconds before we were ready to walk out.  We initially ordered off the Red Burrito menu - Taco Salad, which was mostly lettuce was nothing exciting, Grilled Chicken Burrito Platter was so-so.  The accompanying rice was dry, refried beans were tasteless glop.  The Chicken Soft Taco ordered for my 3 year old was too spicy for him.  Normally, he enjoys tacos, but this was just a bit much for him, so I went back and ordered him a burger from the Hardees menu.  It was pretty good.

On the plus side, they had Diet Dr. Pepper.  But as another minus, the floors had that greasy feeling like they might not have changed the water in the mop bucket since some time last week.  icky.  makes me wonder...

I'd skip this place in the future.

Typical fast food restaurant with a decent selection of sandwiches and burgers. Service is good and the dining area appears clean. This location may be a bit tricky to access because it is in the middle of US-13, between the northbound and southbound lanes, but they do have a private parking lot.
