Cassano's Pizza & Subs

Cassano's is the best pizza in the Dayton area. Hands down.

It all starts with the crust. It is thin, crispy and salted on the bottom. The sauce does not overwhelm the rest of the ingredients. There is the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce to toppings. The regular pepperoni is my favorite.

I go to Cassano's for pizza, but they have good subs too! The veggie sub has crisp veggies on warm toasted hoagie bread. Yum!

My only complaint is that the pizza can sometimes be burnt around the edges. It has happened more than once. I've ordered Cassano's a lot, and it usually comes out perfect. For the best experience, eat in at the restaurant.

People either love it or hate it.  I LOVE IT!

Got this pizza on the recommendation of a friend.  The service was friendly (we ate in... cafeteria atmosphere, awful lighting, uncomfortable seats, you know, it's not a place you're supposed to eat-in).

We got the deluxe veggie.  Not our favorite thin crust pizza but we are pizza snobs, sort of.  I don't particularly like when toppings are chopped so small, and the "distinctive taste" of the pizza just seems to be the salt.  The crust is cracker thin, but the bottom is sprinkles with pretzel-style salt, and that shit is seriously salty.  Like with a soft pretzel, after I figured out part of the source of the saltiness, I started picking it off. I know it's serious when the "put salt on stuff before tasting it" boyfriend thought it was too much.
