Chevys Fresh Mex

Chips and salsa to start the meal are noce. Not too salty, like many places end up doing. The salsa has just enough heat to keep me happy but not so much to upset those who are more sensitive. Guac is very good and fresh. Sometimes, the server will make it tableside. Nice that this place is not getting it out of a package.

The meals are big and hearty. No skimping, at all. Love the mashed sweet corn side ( it has a specific name, that I can't remember ). See people of all ages there, enjoying themselves. Nice place.

Good mexican food for a good price.....also had a great Cadillac margarita that came with a side car of tequila....nice...

My son commented that the chips and salsa were his favorite of the 5 or 6 mexican places that we frequent.

The fajitas were good.  The tacos my son got looked good.  My daughter and wife were happy as well.

For my wife's 40th birthday we wanted to do something that people could customize to their liking. Based on the advice from a friend I contacted Chevy's and was not disappointed. We got the half steak half chicken fajitas and we ordered for 20 people. We got A LOT of food. Chevy's also loaned us all of the warming dishes for keeping the food warm during the party.
We heard comments all through the night about how good the food was. Including the several containers of assorted beans, San Antonio rice, grilled veggies. All of the food was delicious and no one was disappointed.
The catering coordinator Marie was on top of the project from start to finish. She was in constant contact with me by email, insuring the number of people had not changed and that we were completely satisfied. I can not say enough good things about how this event went thanks to Chevy's- Rob
