Went here on a whim without reading any reviews. Â We actually had a really nice time. Â It was a Saturday night and I did feel like the oldest female there though (I'm 33). Â We got a small table on the roof right away.
Mixed drinks were a little over priced but that's typical for these kinds of places. Â We were on vacation so we were splurging. Â We had just come from Crush Winehouse and that was terrible so maybe that's why this place was so great. Â
Good music playing (two guys/acoustic)... waiter was really nice. Â Food was really good. Â We go the alligator tacos and the seafood flatbreat and the brussel sprouts. Â Now that I read all the reviews about the cleanliness there I am a little worried because it was so dark and we couldnt see if things were clean or not.
Oh well... It was a fun experience and we would go back if in town there again!
If I could, I would give it zero stars. I got a Bloody Mary that was disgusting and had to send it back. I ordered the crab eggs Benedict and the crab tasted like a cookie... Weird and gross and the egg was barely cooked. The potatoes were soggy and were clearly frozen and just dumped in a microwave. The "hollandaise sauce" was apparently squirted out o a squeeze bottle and tasted like mustard. Finally my friends both ordered the lox, and each got a different type of bagel, even though that wasn't asked when they ordered. We weren't charged for the Bloody Mary or eggs Benedict but the rest was overpriced and the waiter was completely incompetent and never apologized once. I ended up going to dunkin donuts after and have never been happier to be there! Please never go here, it was absolutely disgusting.
