I love this place. Â You might not think twice about trying it, but the food is good, and the best part is that it is CONSISTENTLY good. Â I've been going here for lunch on Fridays for a couple of years and it never disappoints. Â The service is welcoming - Mike is the bestest, go for lunch on Fridays and he's there. Â I love that they always have a few very good craft beers on tap that rotate frequently (and Mike is super knowledgeable on the beer) and there's a mug club for good pricing on said craft beers. Since they are affiliated with the liquor store next door which has a great beer selection they have a great bottled beer list in the restaurant too. They have internet trivia and board games, so it's a nice place to sit around and enjoy a beer or several while hanging out with friends. Â If you save your lunch receipt you can get a discount in the liquor store! Â At happy hour it tends to get busy and loud, but they have $3 food specials which is pretty sweet. Â If you've been intimidated to try this place, go at lunchtime to try their delicious food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Review Source:the wascally wabbit is whispering this most wecent update --- cus Waterman's is weally wunnerful; and is a very small place and probably can't stand too much popularity, Â
As you can see from my check-ins, I have been frequenting the place.  It has a nice friendly atmosphere, the clientele is nothing snooty, no pretenses, no Rolexes or  Coach bags  -- this is Edgewater after-all! Â
As a neighborhood bar it ranks with the best. As for the food... it's in another class altogether. Everything that I have ordered ihas been well prepared, fresh and delicious. Â Just a tip: the ceasar salad as a side dish for a sandwich is really top notch. (ask for it in lieu of fries) Â Burgers & Fish sandwiches are my favorites... oh and the BBQ pork sliders are great.
Try it-- you will like it. Â Just check any big city, upscale attitude you may have at the door!
