O'Brien's Oyster Bar & Restaurant

Another disappointment among my few dining experiences since recently moving to Annapolis.  I ordered the Bistecca Fiorentina which is a "sixteen ounce New York Strip Seasoned with Herb rub, basted in Rosemary Garlic fat back paste & seared
to perfection." While it was seasoned as described, seared to perfection it was not.  I ordered mine medium rare and it came out bloody rare.  I am usually not one to send back an under-cooked steak, as I can tolerate it a bit on the rare-side, but this was ridiculous.  It came with "Spicy Aioli Fried Potatoes" which appeared to be potatoes covered in warm processed cheese spread.  Another one in Annapolis which I will not be returning to.

My husband and I visited O'Brien's for our first time ever while on an anniversary trip to Annapolis.  I had the crab cake sandwich which was very good quality and delicious.  My husband had the pork belly sliders which he thoroughly enjoyed.  We also shared a bowl of the cream of crab soup which was very tasty despite being lukewarm.  Be sure to "check-in" using the Foursquare app on your phone, and you will receive the FREE check-in special of an oyster shooter :)

The service was decent, the food was just okay (I had the crab pretzel....or just call it a pretzel with melted cheese.)  It's overpriced for the value of the meal.........keep walking and find somewhere else better!
