Another disappointment among my few dining experiences since recently moving to Annapolis. Â I ordered the Bistecca Fiorentina which is a "sixteen ounce New York Strip Seasoned with Herb rub, basted in Rosemary Garlic fat back paste & seared
to perfection." While it was seasoned as described, seared to perfection it was not. Â I ordered mine medium rare and it came out bloody rare. Â I am usually not one to send back an under-cooked steak, as I can tolerate it a bit on the rare-side, but this was ridiculous. Â It came with "Spicy Aioli Fried Potatoes" which appeared to be potatoes covered in warm processed cheese spread. Â Another one in Annapolis which I will not be returning to.
My husband and I visited O'Brien's for our first time ever while on an anniversary trip to Annapolis. Â I had the crab cake sandwich which was very good quality and delicious. Â My husband had the pork belly sliders which he thoroughly enjoyed. Â We also shared a bowl of the cream of crab soup which was very tasty despite being lukewarm. Â Be sure to "check-in" using the Foursquare app on your phone, and you will receive the FREE check-in special of an oyster shooter :)
