Pusser's is that kind of place where you like the drinks, like the atmosphere, love the views and being on the water but you wish the food just matched up with the rest of it.
Came here on 4th of July for an early dinner and it was about a 30-45min wait to sit outside, understandable, especially for July 4th. The boyfriend and I sat at the bar and had a few of their speciality drinks, of course the painkillers! They were good, not a 5 but I'll give them a 4. The bartender was very nice and the hostess even came right up to us at the bar when our table was ready. We sat outside right on the water and it was perfect. Our waitress, Carla was very attentive and nice. As an appetizer we ordered the crab dip which was actually really good and creamy but I don't remember too much crab meat in it. I feel like they didn't have much options on the menu but for our entrees I got the jerk chicken wrap and the boyfriend got the fish tacos. He really liked the tacos and said the fish was really fresh and flavorful but not the best he's ever had. I wanted more from the jerk chicken wrap it was kind of bland and the chicken had a weird texture maybe? In the sandwich is tasted dry and then when I tasted it by itself it was tender and juicy... weird. Maybe I am a picky eater? The french fries were really crunchy just like I like them!
Nice place to eat on the water and I'm sure even more fun at night with live music.
