Chickie's & Pete's

Ordered the lobster roll.  HORRIBLE.  Very fishy and served in a regular hot dog roll.  For $18 it was ridiculous.  The fries are okay, of course but not something I'd go out of my way to get.  Surprisingly, the pizza we got for the kids was excellent.  The wait staff was okay, but again, nothing to write home about.  Very expensive for food that was just mediocre.

I have driven by this place at least a hundred times and seen the lot nearly full, but I fail to see the draw for this establishment.

Recently I had ducked in here with my son since a well known sandwich shop in Norristown was on an extended 4th of July holiday, and it was getting late and didn't want to interfere with dinner, you know the drill.

I had a cheese steak, and it was maybe the worst I've had. How can you mess up something to simple? Fortunately, the whole meal was not expensive, so I wasn't pissed off or anything. Maybe more of a bar than a restaurant.

I'm convinced Chickie's and Pete's is here for the benefit of guests staying at the hotel directly behind.  

Place appeared clean, huge lot for parking. Noisy environment, Sports bar atmosphere, beer specials.

Nice selection of beer by a place with an energetic staff. Very professional atmosphere.
