I knew in advance what to expect in terms of atmosphere which is why ordered take-out in the middle of the day. That itself was a pretty eerie experience. The bartender was more than helpful and take out was quick. Now I know the name of the joint has 'Rib' in it, but I'm always on the lookout for a decent brisket sandwich so I was eager to see how theirs measured up. Sad to say that the first bite left me less than impressed. Just bland, dry slices of chest meat. Even drenching it in their mediocre bbq sauce didn't help. Maybe one day I'll go back and actually try their ribs and this place will prove me wrong, but it won't be any time soon.
Review Source:This is definitely a biker bar. Â As a minority, I felt a bit uncomfortable (people staring for a long time as we walked in the door).
The food was great and reasonably priced. Â The hot honey sauce is great. Â They also have good beer specials.
I also appreciate that this is a local business which maintain the distinct character and aids in prosperity of our community.
