Went there for the happy hour specials and ordered the chicken nachos, and Southwest egg rolls, with a mango margarita. Food was o.k., but nothing to rave about. Â
The nachos didn't come out like regular nachos at all, but rather looked more like flatbread  shaped like a pizza and cut into 8 pieces.  Very strange.  Wish someone had told me about this in advance.  The eggrolls were way too heavy on the spinach and jalapeno.  As for the mango margarita, I could taste NO mango in it....Hmmm.
But, the main reason this visit only gets 2 stars is due to the fact that there was a group of 4 or 5 guys in the bar area who were very loud and using profanity (including the liberal use of the F-word). Â Not once did the bartender or manager ever approach them and ask them to knock it off....And, even after I pulled aside the bartender and told her what was going on right in front of a family with two little girls age 4 + 5, she did nothing and just walked away like my request was not worth the time of day. Â Shame of Katie. Â Afraid to upset the loudmouths for fear of not getting a good tip from them? Â How about having a manager with some cajones do the dirty work. Â In fact, where was the manager? Â Never saw him or her in the bar area at all. Â Perhaps hiding out where it was safe and away from confrontation.
Something is definitely wrong with this place if it can only average 2.5 stars while the likes of Citrus Grill, Yardhouse, Cheesecake Factory, and Outback Steakhouse all have 3.5-star ratings....Next door at Romano's they would NEVER tolerate behavior like this from sophomoric  loudmouths.  They would have been kicked out immediately!
Happy Hour ALL DAY SUNDAY!
That's a nice touch. The wife really appreciated this fact. While shopping on a Sunday, we decided to stroll by this place. See them on every corner now (maybe they are related to Starbucks). Always love their $20 deal for 2. It was a little crowded, so we decided to sit in the bar. Service was fair. Food was alright. The biggest plus side was the ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR! My recommendation is to join their club for coupons and deals. They are automatically emailed to your smart phones and show the server. I overheard a guy ordering his dessert to go at another table...
Chili's is one of those places my family and I have been coming to for years.
They have good food, my family LOVES their chips and salsa, it's bottomless and they love it. I've tried several of their chicken dishes, and they've all been really good. I used to order the Quesadilla Explosion salad all the time with their avocado ranch dressing, but that was before I became health conscience. I still highly recommend it though. They also have an excellent kids menu with many choices, as well as many side choices!
Knocked off a star for the slow service that we've received a few times, but other than that, I can't give Chili's anything less than four stars. A lot of memories have been made at many different Chili's locations. It's a great chain.
Went on Wednesday for my neighbor's birthday dinner. Â We arrived at around 7:20pm and was informed that it would be a 25-30 minute wait. Â Needless to say we decided to wait in the bar and have a drink while our table was prepared. Â Aftewr ordering a beer and an iced tea, the bartneder informed of it would be a moment as they have no clean glasses to serve at the moment. Â Looking around I found the area under the tv on the right side of the bar to be covered in dirty glasses and dishes. Â When the rest of our party arrived, I looked around and found most of the tables were not being bussed by anyone. Â After about 25 minutes we finally got our table which was cleared by the hostess. Â
We ordered our drinks and food. Â It took an hour for 6 people to get their food. Â One of the people ordered potatoe skins with sliders, and texas egg roll. Â the egg roll was soggy, the sliders buns were hard, and the potatoe skins were actually limp. Â either they microwaved the food or it sat under the heating lamp for an hour. Â Some of our party got their food incorrectly, and most of the food was served cold. Â after speaking to the manager about the issues with our food and the overall hygeine of the restaurant he decided to comp us our food. Â Needless to say none of the tables around us were cleaned until we made an issue about it with management, with several tables having left over food and dirty dishes on them for over an hour. Â I actually watched them move the dishes from one table to another just to make room for some guests. Â the bathrroms were disgusting and the floor in the server prep area was covered in food and grease. Â
Needless to say that since they are willing to leave their dining room in the sort of breeding ground for food born illness and serve food that would not even pass as credible at any prison i will not be back to visit this location.
I have forwarded the pictures and the complaint with the health department. Â the amount of bacteria and potential virisus that were left out for not only myself but small children to get hold of was horrible. Â
I hope they clean up there act but based on this visit I can not even give them a second chance.
Needs to find a more competent manager at this location. Brian Griffies JR is terrible.
Last night my fiance, a friend, and I wanted to have dinner at this chili's. We ordered our food and ordered beer and a glass of wine with our meals. We were IDed and our cards were taken back to the manager because we have Minnesota IDs. Then Brian Griffies JR came to our table with an attitude like he was looking forward to telling us off and enjoys being accusative towards customers. He accused my fiance and I of having fake IDs and refused service to us. Our IDs are not fake I am 24 and my fiance is 26. He proceeded to tell us that our IDs look nothing like the picture in the book and they didn't have a hologram. We took our business to BJs instead and I talked to the manager of that chain because I was so upset. Their manager told me our IDs match the book exactly and there isn't even a question. He also said you have to look at the ID under a black light to really see the hologram, which even I knew so I assumed the manager at Chili's should know this too. I'm not sure if he even checked our IDs he seemed to be one of those people who go on a power trip when they are given the slightest bit of authority. I have also received messages from other people over 21 saying the same manager accused them of having fake IDs too. Apparently this is a problem with this guy. A person like this should not be a manager. It makes Chili's look really bad having an employee accusing innocent people of crimes. He is making the restaurant lose money and customers. Maybe he was just trained poorly, this guy obviously had no idea what he was talking about. OR maybe it really does make him happy denying customers service. At our age we should be able to have alcohol with our meals without this person being rude to us. It is humiliating to be denied service in public and it was totally undeserved. Plus if you really think someone is trying to drink with a fake ID aren't you supposed to call the police? I would have loved to talk to them! This makes me not ever want to eat at this location again. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I will be calling corporate.
It's a chain restaurant so you have to temper your expectations. The chips and salsa are always good. There is a fairly decent variety on the menu and it is usually pretty good. Service can be a crapshoot. I have been coming here since the place opened and sometimes (especially if it is a waitperson who has seen me before), the service is great. Other times, especially with new staff, it seems to take forever. It seems the restaurant staffs depending on how many customers are there so if they are not adequately staffed, everything seems to slow down.
Review Source:Got to be one of Corona's best eateries for sure. Something sure to please every palate. Our family's favorite dining spot. Only way anyone could complain is if they had to wait for a table. Must have the best training of any restaurant in the area. The food is always cooked just right and the service is spot on and anticipatory. Adult meals $7& up, kids mostly less than $5. Need I say more. Poor reviewers must just want it all to themselves.
Review Source:I'm not a big fan, but I often get gift cards from my Citi Rewards to this place. Â The food is great, the service is okay....but I can't wrap my head around why I'm not a big fan of this place. Â I think it's because it's bright and noisy. Â The tables are squeezed so close to each other than you can hear everyone talking around you.....so everyone talks louder and louder..... Â Oh, and the wait staff tends to take food off your table before you've eaten it. Â I feel like they try and get you served, fed, and out the door fast. Â The last time we went here the waiter took a quarter of my burger and some fries off the table as if I was done eating. Â I made him bring me back a new container of fries... Â I of course didn't get my burger back.
Review Source:large portions, incredibly low prices, great service. i have only gotten food to go from here but still it has very nice service. strangely enough chili's restaurants don't have any ovens. everything is either fried or grilled. a cheeseburger meal around 6$ which id still lower than most fast food chains. if you use their coupons the food becomes extremely cheap. i like this place. overall a nice place to eat.
Review Source:The waiters here are a little aggressive about taking your order, but I guess they just want to hurry up the process. It was my first time having dry rub ribs here and they were pretty great. The only downfall is that their restrooms were out of stock of everything...No toilet paper, no paper towels, I was surprised they even had soap left over to wash my hands.
Review Source:I haven't been to Chilli's in a very long time...years I think. Â I wasn't such a big fan back then, but this last visit sure changed that for me. Â
Love the soup and salad deal, which comes with chips & salad....all three are all-you-can-eat, and for less then $7.  We've had the ribeye steak here, and its pretty good without all the hoopla of adding sauces on it.  Nice, simple, juicy steak, with great sides.  The chicken wings are always good.  My cousin ordered the appetizer quesadillas that were nicely overstuffed, and her bf ordered the appetizer (I think its an app) sliders. They've got a 2 meals for $20 =D So far so good, we look forward to returning every now and then.  The service is eh...depends on who you have.  However, overall we're satisfied.
my boyfriend and i go here for lunch once in awhile and i really like the bartender that we get when we go. i should've gotten her name but shes awesome. im always concerned about calories when i go out to eat and she just really seems to know her stuff when it comes to the menu, and the low calorie cocktails. she's got darker hair, average height, and thin. the food there of course is great. id recommend their lime chicken soup. SO good and low in calories. and their worlds freshest margarita is great. their skinny margarita isnt bad, but not a lot of alcohol in it. For just a couple more calories you can get their "worlds freshest margarita" with double the alcohol.
Review Source:My sister and mom invited me out for a nice Sunday dinner. Â I first want to preface my review by stating I hate big chain restaurants, especially this restaurant because they have a bunch of Angels and Ducks paraphernalia, two teams i completely detest. Â
I attempted to eat healthy and ordered the Monterrey chicken with vegetables and mash potatoes covered in a black pepper gravy. Â Not sure if it's the MSG but once you start eating it, even if it doesn't taste so great, by the time you know it, you finished the plate. Â
So dang salty, even the steamed vegetables were heavily salted, just disappointing food, however i wasn't surprised. Â You definitely don't come here for the food, and I'm not really sure why you'd come here for any reason. Â Maybe if somebody else is paying i guess, thanks sis. Â
Even if the food was sad, I had a good time with the familia.
I really like the food at chili's and it's nice that they offer a gluten free menu (regardless of how minimal). Â However every time I go the wait staff is sub par. Â AND usually the waiter gets switched on us about halfway through the meal for another sub par waiter. Â EVERY time we go this happens. Â Do they even allow a waiter to complete one full meal? The problem with this is they don't know what you ordered, or what you're drinking, you have to re-explain yourself, if like me you have food allergies. Â It's just annoying. Â Meh. Â I've had better service, but the food is tasty. Â If you don't really care about service, then I recommend this location.
Review Source:I read some of the previous reviews about this Chili's which have been negative. I'm happy to say I had a great experience at Chili's.
We went here on Valentine's Day which was also the day of the Allstars basketball game. There was no wait, we were seated immediately and choose to sit the bar area to watch the tv's.
Although we didn't have perfect service it was good service. Our food was great, although 3 out of 4 of us ended up taking home doggie bags because we couldn't finish it (now we have lunch tomorrow). Â Overall I would say it was a great dinner and we'll definitely be back!
Everyone knows what a cheap bastard I am. Â So if I can make something myself and I get more of it and it's cheaper, then I'd rather do that. Â But I went out here for a special occasion so I didn't have much choice in the matter.
I ordered chicken strips with fries and although they were good and the waitress was extremely nice and very attentive, I just didn't like the idea of having to pay $8 for some chicken strips. Â At home, you don't get three different dipping sauces to go with your homemade strips, but you're getting way more strips for your money. Â Sure, what's 8 bucks when you're saving time and effort? Â But every cheap bastard knows that you shouldn't have to pay that much for something so simple.
There's nothing extraordinary about this particular Chili's so if you're a fan, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Â But if you're a cheap bastard like me, you'd better order something you can't make at home. Â Otherwise, you're gonna feel like I feel and wonder if you should have ordered something else.
I took my daughter here last night after some shopping for some needed girl time. Â We decided to share a plate because they offered a "create your own combo" for 16.95 and we could both get what we wanted. Â She had the Honey BBQ Sirloin and I requested the Lime Shrimp. Â The mashed potatoes were good, and the veggies were not overdone, but everything was just barely warm. Â One bite of the shrimp. Â Yee blah! it went straight back, it was raw! Â I still can"t get the yuck out of my mouth from that one. Â I tasted her sirloin and all I could taste was the sauce which was mediocre at best. Â Â I replaced my dish with Margarita Chicken, which took forever to come out. Â It was just OK, too dry, even the black beans and rice were dry. Really no flavor to speak of.
Review Source:There's really nothing special about this Chili's compared to other Chili's. I just wanted to write a review about this place because it was the first time I ever ate out this far. Given that it's practically in the middle of no where... yeah there are a few big name stores like Costco next door, but it's still pretty much out in the middle of no where.
The one thing about this Chili's is that, if not paying attention, I would never of saw it...since it's tucked away pretty far back from the main road.
I'm only giving this place a 2 star because the service was very friendly.
I took the bf here for his birthday one year and our LAME waitress said she wouldn't sing but would bring out a chocolate shake for him (too cheap for cake??). Not the type of hospitality I was looking for on this celebratory day.
We ordered their baby back baby back (you know the song) ribs and onion blossom and played JENGA with the leftover bones to entertain ourselves. The meat on the ribs was dry and covered up with plenty of sauce (which is characteristic of bad BBQ) and the onion bloom was saltier than the hairy, sweaty back of a morbidly obese man.
At least the chocolate shake was good.
