  China King is a casual Chinese takeout restaurant located in the Cambridge central business district. The place is order at the counter with open kitchen and there is self serve table seating for eat-in.
  
  They serve up the standard Chinese dishes and items including Cantonese, Szechuan and Hunan dishes. Special Diet menu is available. The prices for most dishes are under $10. 40 Lunch Specials ($4.95-$5.75) served with pork fried rice are offered Mon-Sat 11AM-3PM. 28 Dinner Platter Combinations ($7.05-$8.30) served with pork fried rice and egg roll are also offered.
  
  I stopped by China King for dinner takeout recently. I ordered the C23 Shrimp Lo Mein ($7.05 plus tax) with pork fried rice and egg roll. The food was ready to go in under 10 minutes. The portion of food was modest. The Shrimp Lo Mein had a mix of small shrimp (not deveined, but clean inside, cabbage, sprouts, onions, celery, mushrooms, bamboo tossed with soft thick noodles. The Pork Fried Rice (golden color) had a grainy texture with a mix of peas, carrots, onions, and roast pork pieces (some fat). The Egg Roll was smaller than normal (similar size to China Wok in Bennington) which was firm outside, filled with cabbage, pork, and seasonings.
  
  Overall, the food I had was served hot and tasted pretty decent, not too salty. Not bad for Chinese food in a rural area.
