I totally agree with the above review. This is a local hangout and you may get stares when you first walk in the door. You can drink plenty of cheap Bud Light (the only beer on draft--unfortunately), and get that liquid courage you need to sign up for karaoke. One tip if you want to sing, is to sign up early. If you get there after midnight, you have almost no hope to get on stage. Also, I love this place for holidays--Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Those times when normal people are sleeping at their parents' house is when this bar fills up! I love it.

If you want a truly local neighborhood dive bar...this is it.  Now I'm not talking a hipster joint where the eccentric drop outs or the alterna- college kids go.  People here have lived in Kentucky for many years.  They have rural Kentucky accents (or Irish).  They come to yell about their problems.  They come to sing AMAZING karaoke.  If you are a mediocre singer, don't bother, just sit back and enjoy the Nora Jones sound-a-like or the excellent Louis Armstrong impression.  You will have to sit through plenty of country, but...we are in Kentucky.  The beer is CHEAP, the pub food was excellent (I had the pub fries and the potato soup), the service was attentive.  Everyone knows each other here, so try not to feel too weird when you walk through the door and everyone is looking at you.  They're expecting someone they know.  Enjoy!
