Chocolate Bar

The service was terrible. The restaurant was about 1/2 full and we still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Waitresses are inattentive and bathrooms are disgusting. Food is pretty good, which is their only redeeming quality.

Salt OVERChocolate any day. This review is for those of us out there that elect for savory over sweet since there are far too few.

Salads are good.  Cocktails are delicious!  Love that they rotate dark microbrews.  Fries are spectacular and chocolate?  Well, it's still chocolate.

I don't remember when they changed the menu, but I was very disappointed in the drink selection on my most recent visit.  They used to have quite a selection of hot chocolate and coffee based cocktails- the best thing after a long cold day of skiing! It is no more; just a long list of cold martinis.  Also, the server seemed high,  and was incredibly slow considering the place was not busy at all.

We did manage for the bartender to make a "special off the menu hot drink" that consisted of hot chocolate and raspberry vodka.  It was OK, but not nearly up to par of what they had on the old menu.

This used to be my favorite apres ski place at Northstar just because of the drinks.  I will not be returning and will instead head up to the Ritz, where they have an excellent selection of warm cocktails.
