Just went here last night with my boyfriend, his mother and our nephew. The service was DISASTROUS. We weren't recognized by any host/hostess because there was NO ONE and then when finally someone came to seat us..she was very unfriendly and borderline rude about which booth/table to sit at. You could tell she hated her job..well it wasn't our fault lady. As if that wasn't bad enough, the food was HORRIBLE! and WAY over priced for its quality and quantity. And as if that isn't bad enough..the waitress proceeded to "help" us wrap up the sandwich UPSIDE down in the box and then went on to TOUCHING the sandwich with her ACRYLIC nails! NO! And so we asked for another sandwich to be made, which she was shocked by and when we got home we saw that they gave us a smaller version on STALE bread and NO fries. No way to run a business but it's Woonsocket, RI..what can I say?
Review Source:We were very disappointed in the table settings/placement  as we were so cramped in we were continuously brushed against and bumped into by the wait staff and other customers. The food was very good but the constant bumping took away from the pleasure of enjoying our Easter Sunday dinner. The waitress we had was older and had little patience for the two young girls (5) and (8) in our party. I felt the owners were trying to make as much money and cram as many people into their establishment instead of providing a relaxed, enjoyable dining experience. We were very disappointed :(   Mrs. Melanie A. Slivka
Review Source:Went on a Saturday night with my family and the $20 for $40 Groupon was purchased. Dinners included a ham club, turkey club, calamari platter and family style chicken. It is very basic and generic food. Flavor wasn't bad but nothing that made us go "wow! I want to come back!" There weren't too many people but service was a bit slow. Had to ask for condiments twice because the waitress forgot. Overall I would say run of the mill experience; not the best and not the worst.
Review Source:We ate at Christopher's for the first time tonight.  We purchased a Groupon for $20 to get  $40 worth of food.  Our food bill only came to $34.  My companion had boneless buffalo wings. They were very HOT and he only had about 1/2 the order.  For dinner he had a ribeye sandwich with peppers, mushrooms, onions and cheddar. He said it was very good and cooked perfectly.  I had one of the October specials: jagerschnitzel.  It was fantastic.  Huge portion, great mushroom sauce, German style carrots (cooked in beer, butter and brown sugar) and terrific German potatoes( warm red skin potatoes with sauerkraut, apples and brown sugar).  My meal came with a salad bar. The salad bar was fresh, clean and offered a good variety of food.  Our server was Samantha.  She was extremely knowledgeable and attentive.  I had two of their 20 ounce Margaritas. Very nice. Christopher's offers a large menu, homey atmosphere and good food.  We will definitely be returning.
Review Source:I have come here many times with my family mainly because my grandmother loves the place, which seems to be a trend based on the other customers you see here. All the times, I have come here I have not had a bad meal. The prices are decent, the portions are a good size, and they also have very good Chicken Family Style if you are looking for a place to go. They have a pretty diverse menu that includes alittle bit of everything. They are known for good seafood and Chicken Family Style.
Most of their meals comes with the salad bar which has some variety in it but at the very least it has everything you need. It is a good place to grab a meal and I don't mind going when my grandmother wants to go. On a side note, I came here for lunch with my mom once and we have never seen so many elderly people pounding Manhattan's martini's, and beer in one place at 12pm...pretty amusing.
A perfect place to bring your grandparents to dinner. Â I've been here on my own with my boyfriend as well, just as a lazy, cheap place to eat but grandparents LOVE this place. Â Inexpensive menu, lots of variety and family style chicken. Â The food is pretty good, certainly nothing to complain about but nothing gourmet or fancy either. Â I have had their family style chicken (which is under $10) as well as a burger. Â All of it has been good and the serving sizes are decent. Â Give your grandparents a call and take them here. Â They miss you.
Review Source:I find Woonsocket fascinating. It's like the lost city of Rhode Island. I love all the weird old buildings and crooked side streets and unusual citizens. You could seriously spend a day there wandering around taking edgy black and white photos, if you're so inclined.
There's nothing fascinating about Christopher's, which is a standard F-C place that locals go to for its seafood. And yet, they do it well. I had their homemade thin crust pizza with vegetables. I think they used spaghetti sauce instead of pizza sauce. Not bad.
The standout at Christopher's is its spacious, warm-wooded lounge area. Saw a few alluring bottles and comfy seats.
The service was great and I think they've got a salad bar. I miss salad bars! Why are they so hard to find anymore?
