Chula's Sports Cantina

= We had planned on going to Gloria's the night we went here, but one of our buddies was casually dressed so we didn't have too many options.

It was around 12:45 am and the kitchen was just about to close, so being the extremely cautious foodie that I am, I told my friends that we should eat somewhere else. Since none of us had eaten for hours and were about to spontaneously combust from hunger pangs, we decided to be adventurous and play Russian roulette with our tummies.

Thankfully for one of my buddies, they told him the kitchen had already closed. I ordered a macho burger and it was pretty decent. Unfortunately, my other friend ordered beef enchiladas and ended up with food poisoning 3 hours later. It came out not even two minutes after he ordered it, so we should have known something was wrong. My poor friend was so sick the whole day.

I love cumbia, bachata, reggaeton...and they played a good mix of that, so I had to give two stars for that. However, I'd never go back and eat there again because well...I value my life and would rather not risk eating spoiled food.

If you like horrible customer attention, waiting for your drinks for over 30mins (reason I know over 30mins I counted 7songs before I got my drinks), or eating crap food that you could microwave better then go ahead an go to this place.  The service isn't worth the price and its a hood/gangster atmosphere. Not my cup of tea at all.

Where to begin. I feel so conflicted.

I roll in here on a Thursday night with two friends to have a few beers. Right off the bat I see some red flags. The security check at the door is 3 cops. They eyeball us pretty hard. I also notice a cop-looking guy roaming the bar in plainclothes but with a vest visible underneath his shirt.
The waitresses are pretty hot.
